First off, no hate comms, JT has always been my favourite person to listen to, he was the only person that really spoke sense during claimgate. This has gone away a little since joining the broadcast, but I understand that. Is it just me or have the recent review pods been a bit much with the bickering with Steve? I know it’s a 2 way street and I’m not here to shit on JT or Steve, but some of the recent review pods have been a bit of a tough listen at times.

Yeah it has, I always liked JT. He used to be my favorite and was funny. Now it seems like he doesn't understand when Steve is being sarcastic and argues about every little thing. I find myself fast forwarding or not finishing the review pod which used to be my favorite pod.

Is Hughes right? How many of us don't ride in the rain anymore? I don't, don't like the mess of cleaning up the bikes after. But this was me in the early 00's at Bremen. I remember vividly how badly I wanted to ride that day, in spite of light rain and 40 degree temps. When I rolled up that Saturday I was the only person there other than the gate lady. She said ma'am you can ride for free today, knock yourself out!

Another addition to the thread, another eyewitness to the race -- John Ayers sent me this note this morning:
"I was reading on Vital about the MX National at Keithsburg, Illinois. I was there and actually won the 250 support class that day. Broc (Glover) won the 125 and I won the 250. Super rough and about 100 degrees that day and there were a lot of section thru the trees. The track was worn way low much like Washougal used to be, but huge sand whoops!"
