This is heartbreaking. I'm met Scottie somewhere between 96 and 98 playing Motocross madness. We instantly hit it off as we used to race some of the same places around California. I like Deegan. Before the race I thought he might have had a chance to win a moto outright. I was at the race. No way would he have won a moto against the Lawrence's on that track

Every year you talk about Deegan winning - haven't seen it yet. First he has to turn up and then, do you really think he is better than Jett and/or Hunter on 250. Put your drink down.

I know what you mean, and I agree that Hunter was the man, but the MXoN tells so many stories, that’s what makes it so special. At least for me, the MXoN is definitely not only about the rider who ends up on the very top. Just as an example, Pancar, a true privateer, finished in fucking 3rd place. It was the moto of his life, securing Slovenia’s best MXoN score ever. Don’t you think that’s worth mentioning as part of the story too?

No 250 rider was going to win a race on that track. There were multiple occasions when you could see 250 guys like de Wolf, Sasha and JCoop struggling to get around lower ranked’ 450 riders, but just being outgunned.

It’s actually against current law to use the name Chase Sexton and the phrase “for sure” in the same sentence when predicting race results.

Belgium are going to be a force to be reckoned with for some time to come. They experienced some typical MXdN bad luck but will be the better for it. There was hardly any Everts talk, he was quietly very good.

Honestly, to place 2nd in consecutive years while not sending all of our best guys is pretty impressive. Sucks that Sexton and Deegan couldn't make it this year, but to be honest, I still don't know if we'd have been able to overtake Australia. Congrats to them - Jett is clearly the best rider in the world, and Hunter isn't too far behind. Very proud of Eli in particular. His tenure with Kawasaki didn't bode well for his MXdN career, but he's really made a name for himself the past few years. Leading USA out of the gate in 2022...

I'm happy with 2nd after all the changes. When it was first announced as Eli, Chase and Deagon I thought we had a really good chance to win it. Then the final lineup had me really wondering if we could even podium. I think, considering everything, we did well. Congrats to Australia, USA and France! Poor RJ - he's going to be harder on himself that anyone here could ever be. You know he's just gutted.
