E start is a downgrade on a full race bike... as you say even cheap scooters have it .. kinda like hydro clutches are a downgrade... yet thanks to marketing noobies think the other way... lmaoo.... and personally I don't want yet another fn battery to take care of and replace every couple yrs... just cause the lazy tampon wearing crowd wants a button does not mean that's the best way to go...

Would love to see him do at least one national, think he could probably podium off the couch in this field

Kei trucks are awesome. I wish they were easier to register here.

Right side driver position?

I hear the 2027 Corvette Z06 is going to have a crank handle starter to save weight.

I’ll swap out my kx327 deposit for one in a millisecond.

Remember when Suzuki and Kawasaki collaberated, and sold the same bike different colour!

Still my favorite bike. Throw a built 08 motor, pipe ignition, and a nicely tuned carb. Some good kybs and clamps. So good.

I’m just happy Roczen didn’t peter out and fade after injuries. What a legend.

But to add it to an existing design, it’s also:

-new case(s)

-wiring

-battery (and anything that needs to be changed/relocated to accommodate it like seat, airbox, subframe, etc etc)

-internal gear(s)

-weight savings elsewhere if weight is a concern

-placement of parts to accommodate weight distribution concerns

-etc

I repeat, Suzuki can do it. They have the resources. Smaller manufacturers like Beta have redesigned their engine cases, removing the provision for a kickstarter.

Suzuki sells a lot of vehicles just none in America, they probably put him on the Board of Directors and unloaded a bunch of free shares in the company on him!

Easy, guys. Ken just won the Supercross championship a few months ago. They probably invited him over to congratulate him and have him tour the facilities; the workers there get a kick out of visiting dignitaries.

It takes several years to design, develop, prove and produce a new model at the quality standards Suzuki demands. They have either been working on it for a while or are not ready yet, but a new RM-Z would have little to no relationship to Kenny winning the title. If they happen to have one ready right now, just as he won, it would only be GREAT timing.

You're right, but there's also the (slim) chance that he is over there testing the all new Pre-production 450 that the new factory MXGP team is going race in 2027 and will become the production bike in 2028.

I know. I know. But maybe.

Been here 30 years and never tried the stuff. Can't get past the fact it smells like feet.

Not related at all, but here is a picture I at the WSX round in Argentina. After so many years of watching Supercrosslive, Pro Motocross and now SMX, it was a dream come true. I hope to see him again riping the zook this year!

Yes.  Don't recommend.   Also eaten other things in Japan many might consider even weirder...   Raw whale, horse, goat...  😋

Judging by the updates to the DRZ400, and other "updated" models, I am not real hopeful for the updated RMZ450. Of course the new suspension is an upgrade this year so that is promising.

Yeah, the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force guys I was training with in Sendai circa 2018 would break that stuff out at the chow hall at night after the sake and the whisky had been flowing, trying to get drunk Marines to try it haha. Stuff is NASTY. A texture unlike anything we have over here. Absolutely pungent as well 😂 they took a lot of joy in watching us hate it

Natto? No way. Hell, I even had trouble with the "regular" Japanese food. I lost weight both times I went there.
