People won't touch that bike without them fixing at minium the clutch, and preferably also electronics issues. I don't get how they can continue to build a brand knowing about the major clutch issues but not fixing it.

9/29/2026 2:37am US and Canada? And nothing in Europe? Or have they just sold very few of them there? The bike itself is really good, especially the chassis, but for a new bike it seems to have some pretty serious issues: gearbox problems, clutch issues, electrical problems, and now this... They’ve invested a lot of money in racing and building their image...

Looks like Lucas oil bottle to me. Maybe belray. Normal premix should be fine in this bike because you are mixing, not a separate oil injection system.

8/21/2026 10:09am I’m expecting the usual round engine sizes: a 125 and a 250, plus a 250 or 300 4 stroke, with a 6-speed gearbox. But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a 150 or even a 200 2 stroke. That would be pretty interesting.

8/2/2026 4:19am I repeat, Suzuki can do it. They have the resources. Smaller manufacturers like Beta have redesigned their engine cases, removing the provision for a kickstarter.

8/1/2026 12:01pm Even the cheapest low-quality Asian scooters have electric start. It's just a motor, a few wires, and a battery—nothing complicated. Suzuki is perfectly capable of doing it.

Really just focus on weight loss, e-start, and new bodywork. Just like the yz250, no reason to try and chase the stability vs cornering flip flop other manufacturers are always doing.

First, I acknowledge there is already another thread that mentions the humorous side of chain saws...and it is spot on (I can promise you everyone including the rattle snakes were annoyed)! That said, there is a very serious side of to this topic that no one has mentioned. The reason for another post to keep the two trains of thoughts separate. I understand why the manufactures (executive level - not the race teams themselves) have been pushing for sound reduction. So, we have all this effort going into testing that frustrates the mechanics, team managers and all the AMA officials...
