9/13/2026 10:27am I would go with the Champ pipe and R304 Shorty. I honestly wouldn't do anything else, this pipe gives it just that perfect powerband, and it sounds sooooooooo good.

9/13/2026 10:24am I have a stock 19 and starting to look at playing around with mods but don't want to get too crazy. Would you say for the money id be better off with the champ pipe over the combination of like a PC Shorty + vforce reeds or apex head for similar money? How do you feel about flywheel weight for MX?

9/13/2026 10:24am Ping recently put out a YZ250 peak build where they use the same pipe. Pretty much spot on with what the testers noted. Cool Mitch actually released the pipe. Seems like most of the PC pipes pros ran were not off the rack available to public. I remember Ricky having a special pipe on his RM as well.

9/7/2026 5:29pm Agree. At the moment I have an all stock YZ 250 with the champ (previously I had the rack Works Pipe). In the past I had another YZ with a full FMF Fatty/Shorty, Vforce reeds, Apex MX head. All I can say is the champ pipe is THE BEST power mod I did ever. Agree with the performance and the...

9/7/2026 5:27pm 2026 YZ250 “X” Model - PC Champ Pipe Review: I have about 15 hours on the Champ pipe and it has been an amazing change. For me, it’s all positive with no downsides. The thing that stands out the most is the increased over rev. The bike no longer signs off at upper RPM’s, it just keeps pulling and allows you to carry gears much longer. One positive I haven’t heard others talk about is how smooth the throttle response is during on/off throttle situations. The Champ pipe makes this situation very smooth and almost electric feeling. With the stock...

Andy7 Added a reply to New helmet time, top 3 pick?
9/7/2026 5:25pm Unfortunately I crash tested a Leatt 8.5, landed sideways off a tabletop, got caught up in the handlebar and hit the front wheel head on. I dented the EPS, but didn't even felt a headache, concussion or anything at all. To be COMPLETELY HONEST, I only realized I hit my head because my goggles rubbed my forehead a bit, and...

9/7/2026 5:19pm I have a Leatt 8.5 which is comfortable and has plenty of venting. They do have the little rubber shock absorbers inside the helmet, but if I'm being honest they seem pretty gimmicky as it doesn't seem like they'd do much in the event of a crash. I'm happy with the helmet and would consider another one when the time comes.

9/7/2026 5:17pm Hmmm, that’s a scary one… Did you have any big crashes prior to this? It is clear it cracked previously, then fatigued over time till it broke through completely just recently. But what caused that is the question… Stems in general don’t see a lot of stress unless something is out of whack. Over-tightening the bearing won’t do it. It’s much bigger than that. Two things come to mind: 1) It was a bad design and a crack initiated then grew through till it broke. If this were the situation, we’d hear about it a lot more than once. I...

9/7/2026 5:13pm @Luxon MX any thoughts? The steering was pretty free since it was serviced. Either way, I’m just glad it was just a broken part and not a broken rider.

9/7/2026 5:11pm Another Tomac thread, but! Even this week on podcasts guys still talk about Stew being 2nd all time in total wins while Tomac passed Stew this year. We have a Jett tracker on this forum and we like to break wins up by SX and MX but Tomac has 57 450 SX wins, 32 450 MX wins and 12 250 MX wins. Which means he has 101. He’s only the second guy to pass 100 total wins and there is not much fan fare behind it. IMO total wins is the most impressive stat as far as wins are concerned...

Andy7 Started a new thread Strangest spark plug I've seen
9/7/2026 5:10pm Hey guys, Have you ever seen a spark plug like this? YZ 250 2 stroke, it is jetted to perfection (piston, head, cylinder everything is looking brand new), running a mix of 110 avgas and 95 pump gas. Could it be the lead in the avgas causing this strange look? It is kind of a soot, and below it you...
