F1! That’s awesome for him. I hope it’s true. F1 is obviously the pinnacle of all motorsports. To be hired on in any capacity is a huge accomplishment.

I believe Hunta would be pissed if he didn't win fair and square. Getting gifted a title would stamp a permanent asterisk on it and any truly competetive soul could never accept that.

I dare say he knows that Hunter would rather lose than be given a championship.

Every time single time Eli has represented USA he’s been the best rider of the three we send. I wouldn’t except that to be any different this year. Dude is a gamer, 2024 after only riding 2-3 outdoors he goes 2-3. If I was picking our team he’d be my first choice.

I make fun of my wife endlessly for watching BS drama shows like Love Island, then shit like this pops up in the moto world and I’m hitting refresh relentlessly. Can’t get enough of it, give me more drama.

I dunno… When a guy can be a 9-5 Regular Joe & go out and race with this crowd, he may have an entirely different perspective than the average fan. He might even have a sarcastic view of the “factory rider” life and be a bit annoyed at some of the whining he hears and sees. With that taken into account, I can see where he’s coming from. I don’t need to agree with it, but it’s interesting to hear.

I don’t think Chase was joking at all. I think Mark’s view of himself is so disconnected from the factory rider level, that he has no trouble talking about these guys in the same way a fan would. He made some comments about Eli as well.

Sexton getting pissed about what Mark Fineis says is a bad look for himself. Dude should be focusing on getting healthy and getting back to winning, not worrying what the 14th-place guy thinks.

I was a 2T die hard. I briefly had a CRF250 some years ago, and hated everything about it. Went back to a CR250. Was intrigued by 350s but leaning towards a YZ250 when getting back into riding. Was able to ride a friend’s 350. It honestly felt reasonably light and nimble with minimal engine braking. That was almost 2 years ago and I have zero regrets for getting a 350 SXF (‘24).

Disclaimer-my last 250 2-stroke was an 02 CR250 with milled head/TMR ported cylinder/etc, so no experience on the modern 250s from team blue/orange/etc. That said, I’d say the 350 is extremely similar to a 250 2-stroke in terms of riding style (2nd gear in turns, 3rd on the exits, likes to be ridden aggressively)…except that unlike a 250 2-stroke, it has almost unlimited rev like a 250 4-stroke, and some of the torque of a 450 4-stroke (to a point). It’s not an automatic like a 450, but it has a much more forgiving power spread than a 2-stroke with...
