The moto section is for everything moto-related. The electric bike area is just for electric bikes.
Much like you can post about old bikes in moto-related, but there's also an old school moto area.
If there were a "curmudgeon" area you could post there and in the moto-related area.
I'm thinking about buying one as my next bike.
I've told my brother to get set up to sell them at his Kaw/Suz/Polaris dealership so I can buy one from him.
I am not sure what type of info you are looking for that isn't already on here. With all the information I see using the search function the only thing that would make any difference for me at least, would be how it feels between my legs.
Not here to argue, I just sorta agreed with an unpopular opinion.
One potential issue I foresee is no clutch, but that’s from a safety point of view.
A question for the guys that know: if I were to grab a handful of whiskey throttle, does hitting the brakes shut the power off, or does it keep powering through, fighting the brakes? Is the bike tuneable in that sense?
The clutch has saved me once or twice from potentially big crashes over the years.

I am looking for about 10 acres semi-close to town, so being able to ride on my property without offending neighbors is HUGE for me. The Alta will make this possible I hope in the next few years...
I might agree that a clutch could be helpful when negotiating some trail obstacles. I run a Rekluse now and there are times when having a fully functioning clutch makes a big difference...
As been said for years: "E-bikes (or E-Anything) are just a couple of technical advances to be totally mainstream".
I primarily use map 4 when racing. There are times when the power output is too much, particularly in the tight stuff, and map 3 or 2 (which are more 250f like) would probably be better. I'm going to be trying some gearing changes to shift the power curve a bit; thinking about going up a tooth in the front which will shift the power curve higher in the mph range. It would roll into the power but also supply more power up in the 35-40mph range.
I will honestly say I have had new mid 2000's RMZs that had way more controllable suspension, even though I was too heavy for the stock settings.
This bike doesn't piss off my neighbors and I have ridden more on my new home track than in the last 10 years combined. I am glad I own one, even though it is not perfect. I would love to see 50,65,and 85cc bikes available for my kids that are competitive with the gas mx bikes.
