I agree. Problem is the time it takes to fully build it out. I easily have hundreds of hours in my 6x12 and that's with no holding tanks or toilet. The Forrest River Work and Play's built before 2014 were toy haulers built on enclosed trailers. There nice and durable, but extremely heavy. My buddy has Forrest River single axle toy hauler around 18ft. He uses it just like we would an enclosed trailer. I like it for what it is. If you maintain exterior sealants around windows and roof openings I think you can make them last.

Agree and just deciding to do it is the hardest part- I over analyze everything! Like deciding the right size, location, height…etc.. I have watched several videos and looks pretty straight forward. Next spring for sure!

Bring the bigger rv be comfortable. 99% chance you will be good. Just make sure your insurance is up to date if you fall on the other 1%.

In my enclosed trailer I load it like a dirt bike with straps on the handlebars, I made a wooden chock out of 2x4s that's removable. With my SUV I use this.

I pull an enclosed trailer and use the risk racing lock-n-load setup for my bikes. I've never transported a mtb and need a setup asap for next weekend (assuming the bike will be here)
