DYE Added a reply to Givin' her the BEANS!
3/18/2018 12:41pm Lol I seriously tried googling that after he said it but didn’t come up with anything. I watched the Lyndon Poskitt Dakar series this winter and “giving her the beans” has been one of my favorite sayings ever since haha

3/6/2018 11:48am Strongly considering planning a trip to HP at the beginning of April. Has anything changed for better or worse since this thread was last active 2 years ago? Anything I need to know ahead of time? Interested in both single track and moto. Much ty

3/1/2018 6:58pm I don’t know if they’ve ever tried to qualify for a national but Kailub Russell and Thad Duval can throw down on a moto track
DYE Added a reply to What makes landing ramps so neccesary?
3/1/2018 12:19pm Haha I can combine his two threads. Last fall after not riding for a while and losing my rhythm on my 250 XC, I over jumped a double to flat. It wasn't a big jump or anything, just a solid 2nd gear braaaap out of a corner (was a little bit of a booter though). Flat landed that sucker and...
That makes sense, thanks for the answer. At least you tried to tell them that people would notice lol...I still just can't wrap my head around them using two totally different sounds for the same bike and thinking it would sound best for the audience. But anybody that doesn't ride doesn't seem to notice, so they may be right.
But how do you explain switching from 2 stroke to 4 stroke sound in different scenes on the same bike in many other movies?.... Actually same scene. I can't name them, but I know I've watched more than one movie have a chase scene and when it cuts back the bike is a different stroke lol
Serious question. How come nobody in the film industry can get the sound right? They ALWAYS switch between 2 & 4 stroke and I don't get it haha. I mean I could possibly get being lazy and mixing up the two without researching, but switching back and forth, it seems like you have to go out of your way to...

2/26/2018 12:04pm Watching practice and qualifying all day makes the trip so much better in my opinion. I always get there as soon as the gates open. The stadium will be fairly empty throughout the day, I suggest moving around to different seats to get different up close perspectives of the track. I don't know why I didn't think to do this...
DYE Added a reply to Milestone - Monster Energy Supercross The Official Video Game
2/23/2018 9:46pm Ok so I've checked in on this thread from time to time and have been thinking about buying the game. It's giving rain for the weekend so I've decided to pull the trigger. What's the difference between the regular version and the special edition? What does the season pass get you and is it worth it?

2/4/2018 8:50am Winner winner...this place is becoming more negative than the Facebooks. Who cares if the announcing is bad just watch the racing.

2/3/2018 8:38am Well considering I’ll be making 67k next year (I know that’s not a lot but plenty to live comfortably in my part of the world) plus I get summers off to ride as much as I want....I’d say I’m doing pretty fuckin well. Have any other professions you’d like to shit on big guy?
DYE Added a reply to Lyndon Poskitt Youtube Dakar Documentary
1/31/2018 8:33am It comes through in his videos and they are super easy to watch. Probably the only series I've ever watched that I enjoyed the non-riding bits more than the riding. Cool hearing him tell about everything. I learned a lot about Dakar by watching it.

1/31/2018 6:09am That was an awesome series! Somebody posted it in the Dakar thread a while back and it saved me because I was running out of moto videos to watch while doing cardio. I finished all 19 but I think they were coming out with a 20th, I haven't checked yet. Only problem now is I can't stop talking about how...

1/21/2018 7:28am People bitch about Stew ghosting the sport after retiring but who could blame him. Dungey came back and trying to be involved but is being criticized for not being good enough yet. Ralf, Jeff, Ricky not good enough. Program boring, guys check out, not good enough. Try something new to prevent checking out, not good enough. Can nobody just appreciate...

1/20/2018 11:29pm That’s because Anderson cut him off. The dude is out there defying odds purely off of his will power (and talent). Has nobody else noticed his left hand when he holds his drink after the race. Definitely not 100% yet but damn you got to admire his determination. Big Roczen fan now
DYE Added a reply to Hands up if you liked the format
1/20/2018 11:14pm It was awesome. My only suggestion would be to show like 30 min of highlights of qualifying like I think others have suggested. That would fill some of the down time.

1/19/2018 4:13pm Been there 9 years in a row. Stayed in almost every hotel within walking distance to the stadium, they’re all good. I usually hit the tilted kilt on Friday, then circle center mall for a little morning shopping (girlfriend) and a quick bite to eat before going to the stadium. It’s usually on St. Patty’s day so the whole city...

12/12/2017 9:08am Watching practice all day is one of my favorite things too. Watching guys figure things out and try new lines is awesome. I especially like watching B & C practice. The guys that aren’t superhuman and you can relate to a little lol

12/12/2017 6:25am I’ve been to Indy sx for the last 8 years. I had planned on giving it up for a lot of the same reasons mentioned above. Last year went back on a spur of the moment with a group of friends and raced the IXCR about an hour away the next day and just camped at the track. Saved a...
