Good job by your son at LL's. If he is who I think he is, I assume he had bad gate picks both 1st motos. Hopefully a little more support will come for next year after his results at the ranch.

I was pitted next to Tanner Dorman at the Muddy Creek Regional and spent some time hanging out with them. They were super nice people and we noticed right away how humble and polite Tanner is. So happy to see him win a title!

West coast guy? That would be tough. 878 over 7 days isn't really horrible for a pretty major bucket list item. The extra car pass and pit vehicle prices are really the only place I feel robbed. I didnt pay the $100 per device wifi eithet because I took a starlink. If I was there solo id definitely pay the 100 for it tho for the week.

Keep in mind the guy on the Maico is really fast. He's raced LL 25 times and has many top ten finishes. He qualifies on his modern bike and beats a lot of really fast guys to make it in. Then has chosen to race the Maico there for a few years now and does respectable on that. The costs...

Congrats. You figured out the rational way to do LL and still have a level of comfort and an escape from the heat/noise, etc. every evening. I'm hoping to use your model to attend the Vintage Fest at Barber in October.

If you are FAST ENOUGH you can do your home region and race one area and one regional and qualify. I'm not nearly fast enough, so I end up racing multiple to get the best chance. And I skipped my home Region which was Red Bud because I typically don't do well there. So I had more travel time. Again...

No additional cost. His spot was sweet but up on stage coach its hard to get a big vehicle up there and level unless you have one of the actual sites. My $200 or whatever pit vehicle pass got him and his wife up the hill in the rain on Sunday a little quicker than their feet tho. Lol. I didn't really track detailed costs.
