I completely agree with all of your insights. I really felt like Hunter was going to finally get that monkey off of his back. He has the speed, the fitness, etc. I think he needs to believe that he can beat his brother... at this point it is mental. I love watching Jett ride as he reminds me a little bit of Bayle and Pourcel in how effortless he looks on the bike... like he is out for a trail ride! I love watching Hunter too. He's so good and if it weren't for his brother, this guy would be...

Agree with everything you said, although I wasn’t too surprised with Lucas and Sacha. On the Romano topic, if he had better fitness, he might be able to contend for wins. I’d love to see him improve his endurance and ride another year with Mitch and PC.

If you prefer to read, here are my "Cliff Notes" on Hangtown. Well that did not take long, Looks like my doom and gloom worries about Jett were premature. It is clear that walking is still an issue, but it seems that hauling ass is no problem. Damn impressive win by Jett. Great ride on a crap track. He really...
Yeah the original draft went into much more of his racing career but Jason at Meta asked me to cut all of that out to get the word count down. I am still happy with how it turned out but I agree the article does not really touch very much on his career particularly in the GPs.
Back in 2015 I wrote a story for Meta magazine chronicling Mike Healy and his story. I thought some of you who did not get a chance to read it at the time might enjoy it in video format. Unfortunately Mike passed away in 2024 but I think his story is one worth retelling.
