"I parked him"...coolest quote ever! I feel like ever since then, "park him" has been a part of our American motocross vocabulary. Just last weekend...in reference to Jo trying to get around Minear....I found myself saying, "Jo needs to park him " 😀

I realize this thread was created for the peanut gallery to laugh and point fingers when Haiden didn’t beat Jett. But let’s get some reality in here and dial it back from: attacking his religion; his family; micro-picking every little thing he said. This is literally only his third or fourth 450 race. He is the only rider in the entire paddock right now actually stepping up to challenge Jett and Hunter instead of just settling for a podium. Love him or hate him, the kid’s raw confidence is exactly what this sport needs and probably what will be needed...

Great points—and I had completely forgotten about all that drama back then. Reading about it a week later in Cycle News or months later in MXA just didn’t have the same impact that today’s instant social media does.

There’s a recent trend of guys clinging to Jett’s win percentages and migrating away from raw stats/records. The lesson here—never preemptively crown goats. While RC’s goat status is bolstered by his win percentages, it has very little to do with them and it has everything to do with his raw numbers accumulated over consecutive years. RC was only 26 during his last full season as a pro. The amount of championships and wins that he put up by that point is unthinkable.

High point 02 he crushed a radiator I think the head went at Southwick 02 Clutch failure after his first turn pile up red bud 04, but you could argue maybe he doesn’t get back to first so you aren’t totally wrong! I’m just on the opposite side is all!
