Whatever dealers ship bikes in crates are taking a huge chance at a lawsuit. If the front wheels falls off over a jump the lawyers will say “ Why did you let this customer put his own bike together? Youre the professionals not this man”. And i think most franchise agreements says not to. Motorcycles are seen as SO dangerous already by non-riders. A socal dealer even lost a lawsuit because they loaded a guys bike in his truck, the guy hit and killed a pedestrian on the way home and said the he was distracted by the bike swaying in the truck because the dealership didn't tie it down right. And the guy won in court
