I can't claim this idea as my own as a friend shared it with me, but it makes a ton of sense to me at least. These race formats could be on tracks with or without whoops. Round 1: Regular Supercross format. Heats, LCQs and 25 points to the rider who wins the main. Round 2: Outdoor Motocross format (in a stadium OR even at an iconic moto track). Riders score points from BOTH motos. Round 3: Triple Crown format. Each Race scores points instead of calculating an overall winner. This naturally gives the single, double, triple points without it...

It's crazy that just a few short years ago he was the fastest guy on the track by a sizable margin. He was always so silky smooth until he catastrophically wasn't. Sucks that injuries likely robbed this guy of a longer career.

I’m blown away by the fact they shaved 4 seconds (J) and 7 seconds (H) off the fastest laps in the second moto when the track was in worse shape. These freaking guys are aliens at this level.

If he wasn’t running his mouth off one would have to say well done. A 450 throttle doesn’t give a s..t what your saying or who your insulting pre race. He did ok but didn’t live up to the self initiated hype. Lucas Coenen is younger and was far more impressive on his move up to the big bikes without the mouthpiece antics. Hes only a kid so nothing to get worked up about but it was good to see Jett with a dodgy foot and arm pump put him in touch with reality.

For all the shit talking he deserves to cop it for that performance. You can’t act like an ass, talk shit on riders, bring their partners into it and not crack a podium with no crashes, and take the humble learning route. He had to win or podium at minimum to get away with it. He failed. Anyone else, that’s a decent rookie start. He passed Jett, Jett passed him straight back and walked away. A guy who hasn’t raced for 6 months and is clearly not 100%.

Or better parents, or better team management. I can’t believe the shit that Star let him do without any consequences.

The sad part is, my 14 year old son thinks it's awesome. No matter how much my wife and I tell him that Deegan is a douche bag he still loves him
