It's crazy that just a few short years ago he was the fastest guy on the track by a sizable margin. He was always so silky smooth until he catastrophically wasn't. Sucks that injuries likely robbed this guy of a longer career.

I’m blown away by the fact they shaved 4 seconds (J) and 7 seconds (H) off the fastest laps in the second moto when the track was in worse shape. These freaking guys are aliens at this level.

If he wasn’t running his mouth off one would have to say well done. A 450 throttle doesn’t give a s..t what your saying or who your insulting pre race. He did ok but didn’t live up to the self initiated hype. Lucas Coenen is younger and was far more impressive on his move up to the big bikes without the mouthpiece antics. Hes only a kid so nothing to get worked up about but it was good to see Jett with a dodgy foot and arm pump put him in touch with reality.

For all the shit talking he deserves to cop it for that performance. You can’t act like an ass, talk shit on riders, bring their partners into it and not crack a podium with no crashes, and take the humble learning route. He had to win or podium at minimum to get away with it. He failed. Anyone else, that’s a decent rookie start. He passed Jett, Jett passed him straight back and walked away. A guy who hasn’t raced for 6 months and is clearly not 100%.

Or better parents, or better team management. I can’t believe the shit that Star let him do without any consequences.

I’m no fan of Deeg’s hype and trash talk but I think he did well today. I was surprised that Jett dropped him at the end of the motos when Jett is clearly not 100%. Jett can barely walk and dropped him. Deegs will get better. I think he will modify his style - he seems very heavy on the bike whereas Jett and Hunta float. Now to Deeganites… what happened brahs?

I would not have been surprised if he either won or podiumed, he is that good. But with his and Brian’s trashy behavior I’m glad that he didn’t. They are insufferable enough as it is and he needs to eat some humble pie for as long as it takes for him to mature. I can’t stand what they are doing to the sport I love. I don’t need the made up drama for likes and clicks to enjoy moto and man I wish that media could stop milking this cow and feeding the trash group of the ”fans”.

Deegz did about as well as I thought he would. I'm far from his biggest fan, but the kid has serious speed for sure! I would respect him more if he was more humble and didn’t do all the MMA smack talk, but these zoomer kids got raised by social media, and I guess this is the end result of that ,whether we like it or not.
