This. So many of the variables have been removed from the race to the first turn that there's very little separation between the riders when they arrive. Remove all the aids (traction control, starting devices, grates, starting maps, etc.) and this will return the variability and spread out the field. It will also show who has the skill and who has been leaning on the aids. And isn't the skill what we're trying to measure between the gate drop and checkered flag?

are you talking the first moto or second moto....it's obvious the bros were on cruise in the second moto and were never in Danger. btw Jett had Deegs covered by nearly 5 seconds, not the 3 dangerboy claims. i could respect his skills if he wasn't such a D-bag.....hmmm.....D-bag Deegan has a proper ring to it

Look Sexton isn’t doing great so far, his starts are off which isn’t helping either. But has anyone thought about the number of BIG crashes he’s had for years now and the toll they have to have taken? He’s had highlight reel slams year after year since what 2020? Eventually Stew stopped being Stew after so many of those hits. They add up. I’m not saying he’ll never be “back” but they certainly have dulled the blade. Jett as well, you only get to “bounce” back from so many massive injuries before you start to lose the edge. I’m not...

I don't think he's slow. I just think Jett, Hunter and Deegs have taken their riding to another level he can't match, and it's in his head. So he blame's the bike. He needs to take a good look in the mirror and get a good coach.

I wanted to give him the benefit of a doubt when he went to kawi but it’s the same pattern on every team he’s been on so far. Chasing a magical setting every moto and when it doesn’t work the team is either to blame or be disrespected. That’s how it seems on an outside perspective anyway.

Sexton is 4-7 rider at this point of hos career. Just a fact. The evolution of the sport leaves some riders behind a spot or two each year.
