There is a world wide problem for riders that has been pro’s and now just want to race for fun. If you have been fast once upon a time, there is a good chance that 90% of your max speed will stay with you for MANY years. Even 10 years after i stopped racing as a pro I could not line up and race a VET or Vintage class without complaints from others that i did not belong there. This friggin sport has been eating it's own for decades. It's the only way it will survive. It will never be Nascar...MLB or NFL size...EVER. Hell, it's basically on par, or slightly more, with the PBA in terms of TV viewership. You like the sport...I like the sport. Well, it costs money and it's WAAAAYYY to small to attract any really large outside revenue TV dollars. So, suck it up boys. It will never get any better.
