Anyone who is involved with race teams should be looking at other options going forward. It's not like the banks that were too big to fail, KTM can fail, I hope they don't.

11/6/2024 7:36pm It's still more dualsport than the plated dirt bikes. Suzuki fortunately was wise enough to keep the 2 quart oil capacity. We don't know yet until more details are out, but looking at diagrams of all the engine parts that have changed also shows a few cogs that are not the same. 5 speeds are not great for the street...

9/23/2024 2:19pm Good point and isn't it always about the promoter. They certainly have it set up so that it comes down to the last two motos. Case in point is how Pierce Brown was able to rocket up in the final standings from that last race.

I feel you on this, but this whole thing is based on what’s best for the promoter, who makes money on ticket sales and tv ads/revenue. So more events = more revenue. And in the past, when a dominant rider clinched the title early, fewer fans bought tickets to the final round(s). Making an early title win impossible was job one for the new points system.

9/22/2024 11:00am I actually do like this series, but they need to look into the points just a bit further to me. Last night we could have seen a guy like Deegan go 5 for 5 in the first 5 motos and then one win by Vialle with I think a 3rd or 4th from Deegan would have been enough for Vialle...

I don't believe Star was willing to send him. They wanted him to get that screw out and be 110% ready for A1 . Basically protecting their investment in regards to Deegan. That's what I was told.

The Jammer was awesome! He loved to get into competitors heads. I believe that neck brace was from rolling a car messing around at Brad Lackeys place a few days before the race. Whether he really needed it or not is something only Jimmy could tell you.
