If you need an e-start on your 2 stroke, it's probably time to hang up the boots...

Yes its $1700 cheaper, but they lost a customer this year because of no upgrades. No, that's no big deal to them, but know quite a few people that feel the same way i do about it. I've always been a yamaha guy and waited years for them to update the 250X (for 3 years rode a '15 YZ250 I set up for woods) and they never did. Instead i bought a GasGas XC 250, and its an amazing machine. Hydraulic clutch, e-start, 2 maps, stock FMF pipe/silencer combo, KYB suspension, and brakes that compares to brembo's. Would have like...

SeaClassExpert Liked a reply to forum topic Discussion: Most controversial moment in Motocross?

5/31/2019 10:29am
Controversial is supposed to mean a seemingly even amount of people on either side of an issue. With that in mind, I'd say banning true works bikes back in 1986 is something that could be considered very controversial. Some of the stuff that Honda was working on at the time was bananas.

What was it that made mx explode in the 70s? It was an affordable and easily accessible sport.

step 2, make everyone sell their (affordable) 2 strokes in favor of the more environmentally friendly 4 strokes, only to tell them that they are too noisy and bad. Must buy e-bikes.

Im an advocate to running what the mfg says to run. They really do know best. That being said theres been people on here saying they run 50:1 in a yz and in the ktms. That might be a middle ground. When i had my yz250 i ran 32:1 and didnt feel comfortable to veer from that.

I have a question about premi ratios. I have have had 2 strokes since the 80s and always ran 32:1. I still have a 2009 YZ250 that i run that way. However i just bought a new KTM 300xc and they say 60:1!! So I really don't want to have to have 2 separate gas mixture if i can around...

Never had one in my shoulder but, both elbows and hands. I’m my experience it eases the pain for about a week, then it comes right back.

I have had it done several times. I had a torn labrum once and just a lot of irritation in the joint from landing on it wrong on another occasion. (Apparently, my Doc says you're not supposed to land on them at all!) Of the three shots I got, two were magic and worked like a charm. I felt 100% by the time I got out of his office and into my car. The third one didn't do anything. My Advice? If you're already going to the Doc and it's not too bad of an out of pocket expense, go...

I say 1 set of triples or once in awhile, no triple. Design a unique track. Travis Pastrana should be hired as a consultant.

They need to be big enough so the 250s can’t make it! A shorter run up to it with a longer triple! That would make the 250 lap times longer also, to the general public it’s dumb that a 250 go just about the same lap times.

2/25/2019 9:53am
I would say no to that, but totally agree a shakeup of the points for triple crown events is in order. I like the format overall, but there needs to be an incentive for the top guys to push hard in the final event. A few suggestions I have. Any of these would be an improvement over what we have today. A. Pay a big points bonus if you sweep the three mains. Say 10 points. No way you mail it in in the last main if your 1-1 going in. B. Pay a points bonus to the overall winner...
