3/7/2026 8:33am Yeah place is getting dismantled and used for Hotels or something like that. Super sad, I think that one and Matterlyn were the favorite tracks among riders.

3/7/2026 8:33am Last year it was at a new venue aswell, in Córdoba (which was more in central Argentina). This track is way closer to the original one, which was located at Villa La Angostura. That terrain isn't available anymore.

3/7/2026 8:32am The old venue was a bucket list track I'd always wanted to ride. Sold for housing or development I think?

3/7/2026 8:32am It's pretty crazy how stacked the MXGP-class is. Febvre, Coenen, Gajser, Herlings, Vialle, Renaux, Jonass, De Wolf, Fernández, Vlaanderen, Seewer, Bonacorsi, Adamo, Horgmo, Bénistant, Van Doninck, Forato, Guadagnini, Pancar, Geerts, Elzinga, Gifting, Oliver, Brumann,... That's 24 regulars when everyone is fit. Second half of those riders could finish from sixth to sixteenth in any order. Imagine being a wildcard rider from Spain, Italy or France trying to score some points... Seems almost impossible.

3/7/2026 7:10am Jan is a supernice guy, and they are living the dream with his dad by his side. They trust each other and they wouod only sign for a factory team cause that is the way. They have their own sponsor who are taking care of the registration fees. This guy is super friendly and 9bviously smart. He can figure out that there is no point of giving money to a smaller team just to be taken advantage of him as he is so easygoing and friendly and a good hearted person. They know what a headache it is to work...

3/7/2026 7:10am I think he is seeking for a factory contract only. I believe he got an offer or two from smaller teams but obviously chose his own, proven program. Each year we see new, promising riders move from MX2 to MXGP because of the age rule, and they typically get opportunities with factory teams. It’s quite rare for someone to secure a factory seat in MXGP without having previously had that kind of opportunity in MX2 or even in the smaller classes. Unfortunately, because he would definitely deserve a shot.

3/7/2026 7:10am I think it's a money / sponsor thing. He isn't good enough to be picked up by the 'paid' teams (KTM/Husqvarna/Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Ducati) I guess he doesn't have the backup from bigger sponsors to 'buy' him a seat for the smaller teams like Fantic/Beta/Honda Motoblouz/Van Venrooy/SS24. They probably sponsor enough for him to operate from his own camper and to get break-even or a small loss.

3/7/2026 7:09am Netherlands and Belgium isnt Red Bud numbers. Arnhem looks crowded because the track area is so small. In newspapers the spectator numbers were reported to be 6.500 in 2023 and 7.500 in 2024. Few years ago Lommel got a new permit for hosting mxgp up to 15.000 people.

3/7/2026 7:09am ...attend any MXGP in France, the Netherlands, or Belgium. You'll not be able to move anywhere around the track there are so many fans. It's like Red Bud and more. MXGP in France is the craziest group of people I have ever seen at a moto event.

3/1/2026 4:56pm I don’t have any skin in this, but I really hope that this was some sort of major misunderstanding that got blown out of proportion. I know that’s a naive position, but I really do wish that ALL accusations of domestic violence turned out to be something less serious and a misunderstanding of what occurred. I know that isn’t remotely realistic, of course. Looks like the charges were dropped because the wife wouldn’t provide any information after the adrenaline wore off. Again, hopefully she isn’t in a situation where she thinks things will get better but they don’t. Another interesting...

3/1/2026 4:55pm So if you’re a multi-million dollar company looking to hand out sponsorship dollars to reach your customers and grow your business, are you giving it to someone that been arrested for hitting his wife? No way.

3/1/2026 4:55pm I am surprised how many people are jumping to conclusion here unless I missed something and there's a proven recorded history of this. To play devils advocate, I have seen and personally dealt with some very aggressive jealous women in my life who came at me with nails into my bloodying my neck, which would have been enough for the neighbors to call the cops in one situation. And one of them turned it into "he hit me" when questioned, which was complete bullshit and she admitted to lying later when she was trying to get back with me. One...

3/1/2026 4:54pm Fellas, who amongst us hasn’t smacked our bitch up every once in a while? Let’s be real! So annoying when they get mad at you for talking to other chicks when they’re at home watching your child. (Sarcasm, obviously)

3/1/2026 4:53pm Violence against women should never be considered acceptable. Self defense is something entirely else. It appears Jason was being accused of possible infidelity or inappropriate behavior by the victim (wife), which lead ultimately to his overly aggressive actions outside the home, to recover a laptop. This is significant. Taking this outside almost guaranteed neighbors would become witnesses. Yet, he still did it. We understand that the victim chose not to pursue her original complaint. Very common in those types of situations. HEP may have either found out in-directly or Jason offered this information. HEP has to do something in response...
