17 hours ago Charli Cannon went 3-2 at Hangtown. She also raced last years WMX GP finale in Australia and went 7-3 after being 2nd in time practice. So based on that i would think Lotte is not going to smoke the AMA girls and she wont be smoked as well.

A national mx2 championship with a lineup of youngsters like Askew, Brookes, Collmer, Heymann, Keith, Mustoe, Richmond and Rizzi is much deeper then what for example Germany currently has in their ADAC youngster cup (just looking at German entries in that class). Based largley on Lewis' recommendation (and my travel schedule) I attended the Latvian GP this past weekend. What a tremendous event. The circuit was wonderful for spectating. The food at the track was the best I've ever had at a moto event and reasonably priced. The people were knowledgeable and very welcoming. The track itself appears closest to Southwick (which I've only seen on TV). €95 got me a weekend pass with paddock access and a program. The gate for MX2 was thin but EMX 125 and 250 were full. 6/8/2026 1:08am dont forget the license costs. If you are an EMX250 rider and want to do a wildcard you have to buy an mx2 license, you can't ride with the EMX250 license. and the MX2 license is either ~550 euro for a one-off or ~ 1500 euro for the year. So a one-off is 850 euro (license+entry fee).

6/7/2026 10:04pm I dont miss lappers. I miss depth of field. We have a couple of the "20th best mx2 riders" who always get lapped because they are not fast enough. While at the same time there are a bunch in emx250 who if raced in mx2 wont get lapped or even fight for a top 10.

6/7/2026 9:38pm Lotte is really, really fast, but her MX2 GP races are a tough indicator because as you allready say that class has no full gates. Every now and then Lotte races Dutch races vs. males. Based on who she is fighting in these races i would estimate that she could qualify in emx250 but miss out on most occassions.

6/1/2026 2:15pm I enjoyed it. Lots of fans, great atmosphere enjoyed the races and alwaus like how well organized the event is. Is it the best track ever? No, but imo there was a lot of action on track during all races. Also nice to see good lineups in mxgp and mx2
