Pretty sure it’s a foregone conclusion. But Lucas will most likely be world champ this year and clearly just wants to race the best of the best. Hence why he moved up to 450s immediately.

Is it a foregone conclusion that the Coenen's will be stateside next year? I know its in their contract if they want it, and it seems like that is their plan. Thunder Valley went well, obviously the results were good, but man, with so many older guys in MXGP retiring soon and slowing down, someone like Lucas could potentially clean up for many years (not seeing any 250 guys or young 450 guys who could run with him if he stays healthy, including Kay De Wolf). Honestly looking 2 years down the road the 450 class in MXGP is looking...

Monster Mountain in Wales. It is in the middle of nowhere, on top of a huge man made hill, i think there are 3 tracks currently and they have spent a ton of money to get it where it is. Riders i spoke to said it was decent to race, there was a lot more people there than there looked, just like Matterley, it looks empty no matter what. At a time when tracks are shutting for fun, it was good to go there and see something going the other way. Herlings is currently not slated to run at Canada...

de Wolf probably thinks he will be the top MXGP guy if Lucas goes to the US.

Rumor: One of these days will Kay de Wolf sign a big contract with KTM for multiple years, this to replace Lucas Coenen who goes to the USA. He had multiple options to race a 250 bike in the USA (Pro Circuit, Triumph, ...) but he will put that dream behind bars. Liam Everts is one of the targets for Yamaha, this to race a MXGP bike.

Damn I like Everts to Yamaha. Just he's had a rough go at it. I think he's name is helping to be honest.

I think Farres has done enough for Triumph for him to choose whether he steps up to MXGP next year or heads back to the states on a 250.

1 - That is a reasonable replacement. I don't know any other rider capable as Seewer that would get that spot? 2- Isn't he making that kind of money already at Kawasaki? 3 -If I was Farres then I'd definitely push for a 2 year or 3 year deal.

1-jeremy seewer will be benistant's replacement from Agueda 2-Febvre has received an offer from Triumph for more than 1 million euros. 3- Farres has a lot of interest from riders for 2027, both for the 450MXGP and the 250AMA, all from top teams, one of them obviously being Triumph for the MXGP.

Based largley on Lewis' recommendation (and my travel schedule) I attended the Latvian GP this past weekend. What a tremendous event. The circuit was wonderful for spectating. The food at the track was the best I've ever had at a moto event and reasonably priced. The people were knowledgeable and very welcoming. The track itself appears closest to Southwick (which I've only seen on TV). €95 got me a weekend pass with paddock access and a program. The gate for MX2 was thin but EMX 125 and 250 were full. As a plus, I stayed in Riga. Great vibe in...

Teuschenthal was a great track but the last few years MXGP have ripped it eight ft deep and it’s been a rut-ruined shithole like far too many other tracks. Last year my knees and ankles were hurting just watching it. I dnt understand why the sport is going so far away from its roots with big hills and proper natural challenges. But then I am a cantankerous old git now at 47 so maybe it’s just an old fart thing.

He was laying on the other side of a blind jump. With bikes going right past him the medical crew should be 100% focussed on the rider and not distracted by the fear of getting landed on. Plus with loud 450s going right past the incident and track crew screaming at the riders to slow down, clear audible communication between between injured rider and medic can be really important. Even from a racing point of view, riders having to slow down every lap for 5 laps isn't what anyone wants.

He has a job in any moto and is not a flagger position, they have other people for that. His job is obvious. Your point is kind of foolish.

He was laying in the track, severely injured. For the safety of the medic crew and rider, clear cut red flag situation. Its one mistake away, either rider fumbles into him and his life is over. And I have a hard time accepting medics can do their best work wiht loud bikes and dust around them. I will 10 out of 10 times stop the race at that time, specially 2 laps +.

I was thinking it was going to be one of those moments where the TV panned the other way, which they pretty much did, no question it should of been red flagged Also, that first bend from the start needs be addressed Fk me, that track looked sketchy, I wouldn't even like to walk it, let alone ride it.
