I get what you are saying, and I agree (no pressure may be good for him as he sharpens his SX skills). There is a chance Ty felt he had the speed to run for it though and his SMX speed was quite a surprise at the end of last year on the PC bike. Parents of children need to be watchful and remove their child from a track if it becomes dangerous. Parents of minors need to set boundaries and punish their adolescents when their kid causes danger. Track owners need to spend the money and have a track worker or track Marshal on site on a track when small kids are riding. It appears that all three of these safety checks failed at once.
