Send to 2-3 years MXGP with Marc de Reuver as coach and forget. There is no translation for "sugarcoating" in the Dutch dictionary.

This Pump Track was a couple miles from my home when I lived in Salem Oregon a few years back. I spent a fair amount of time here. There is also a dirt track. I was 68 years young at this time. This kinda of riding will kick the crap out of an older man🤣 Albany MX was 20M away

I love when an old episode of Kick Start pops up in my 'Tube search. You guys were lucky to have a TV show dedicated to it. (And C'Mon England! It's coming home!! 🏆😄)

I have had a trials bikes (on and off) since the late 70's. Bultaco and Montesa's. Had a Malcolm Rathmell 320 some thing that was fairly rare in the 90's. I was out of town and my boys got is started and moto'd the crap out if it! Next came a series of 4RT (loads of fun) and now the...

Pulled the pin on this yesterday. Not had a 'new' bike of my own since 2003, everything since then has been an Evo rebuild, or something that my sponsor has had at the right money, while a raced his stuff which was way better than i could afford or justify. 2021 350 FS, with 4.7 hours on it. Perfect vet bike apparently, i guess i will find out tomorrow when the gate drops. It still has bar code stickers on some of the parts. Crazy clean. And with that, goes my dream of a Ducati. At 61, i think it...

This is what I made of a Yamaha MotoBike: 1975, if I recall correctly. Might have been '76? I lived at the base of the Blue Mountains. So, I had a the escarpment right behind me. And, I was a Down Hiller by nature. Still am - I regularly put away the crutches, put my walking stick in my CB, put on my Knee Braces, Tape my shoulders, fit my Thumb and Wrist braces, and, terrorize the kids on the Runs. And, take a minimum of pain killers, after it. Most of the DH runs here that the MTBers use...

I hate getting old but I'm very thankful to have been a teenager in the 70s. Started racing MX in 72. Had a 1969 Camaro in HS with an Sanyo 8 Track player (had a case in the back seat with 24 8 tracks). You could ride in any open field and nobody complained. And there were a lot of dirt bikes in the 70s. No internet, no social media. Just riding dirt bikes, hanging out with friends and listening to rock. Life was good.

Spent a few hours with Don Richardson in Las Vegas discussing his story and CZ Suspension a few years ago (8 or so). The conversation was quite facinating for sure!! My CZ build has his suspension parts in them. Also front axel is from a KX250F.

With all the new 2 strokes coming out, thought it might be fun to shine a little spotlight and show some love for the trusty ol' YZ's. Had mine for 3 years now, she's fun, rides like a dream, and fires up every time I ask her to. So, show em if you got em, and tell us if or why you love it.

I had not been to a race or gotten to shoot one since 2019 because of health limitations, but the convergence of a bit cooler day, the fresh rings the docs gave the top end last year, and literally a Friday last minute hook up by Davey I was able to get out to Hangtown. It was so awesome to shoot again, rusty as I was. For all the bitching about parking and cost, etc, there's nothing like race day at the track. There's only so many pro races a year, and only so many years in your life -...

Clearly one of the left over the production models - hence the observation it looks like it never touched dirt. The big bore for sure had a down pipe, they may have mixed it up with the 250 but I've always seen it, even back then, with the up pipe.

Marchbanks qualified almost 4 seconds faster than Eli and was clearly at a better pace all morning. He had every right to think he had the pass made. Good luck telling any racer to let off the gas so they can get passed in the first few turns of the season opener. Time to get off the internet and go spin a few laps with others to remember what it feels like.
