He crushed that Main. The closest thing to a bobble that I saw was a simple stall…and he got right back on it and stayed in the lead.

Not one single “tuck the front”! None of that “making a mistake” while leading like we’ve seen in the past.

He’s looking very solid. Meet the new boss?

Looked like he still had an extra gear to go faster but didn't need to go that fast to win.  Great ride!

Sexton looks way more comfortable this year. That was a statement ride.

Yeah every time the crowd roared when he wasn’t on screen I was expecting to hear them yell he was down. Hope this gives him some confidence on his starts and we have some good racing this year

How many times have we seen Sexton stall the KTM? Seems to be quite a few times. He/ they need to sort that out. Chase certainly looks good otherwise.

Using Tomac as a speed bump on the opening lap isn't a "Sexton"?

As a Jett fan I have to say that win was ominous. Totally in control and speed in hand. What a win! Well done Sexton. Game on!

Better to ride over a speed bump than to be one…

I'd love to see ET3 to have that on his butt patch next week - "Speed bump". 😄

Starts. If Chase can get starts, he is extremely dangerous for this championship, even if Jett figures things out and rides like he did last year. I think Chase can match that if he's getting holeshots.

I think he stalled it in his heat as well. I think he did it a few times last year too. Better get that figured out!

Slow down there buckaroo. Let's see him pressured by Eli and Jett before we get too far over the front end here Wink

Chase got ”gifted” a perfect race when the two guys on track that was faster in qualifying effed up and took them self out of contention.

I’ll wait until he have to race Eli and Jett for a whole main event and see how calm and collected he is. I can promise that he don’t see Ken or Anderson as threats for the win and could cruise to the end without any worries.

He had a great night but I would not read to much in to this before some actual racing is done.

He had to win. Roger needed the purse money for first so he could buy diesel to get to the next round.

Too funny. I was waiting for it to come every time I heard the crowd. As a Chase guy, I'm feeling pretty good about him. Of course, because he won but really because when they showed him he looked flawless. Stalled the bike and he definitely did that multiple times last year. I can't remember the round but he gave a win to Webb because of it. Great way to start the season. Last year he got smoked at A1

If roles were reversed you’d be saying “17-0” and you know it

I wonder if Sexton's bonus check is gonna bounce??

.....or does Sexton put in a claim to the Liquidators for his bonus....

.....or does KTM write him a IOU

Spoongu  already said that Sexton's purse money has gone for diesel 😂

Same! I was so happy when it switched back to him and it was just a stall.

Man Chase was impressive. Poised and fast. The bike looked much improved with balance and traction. The right hander after the supercross triple he would lay into that so fast compared to Kenny, and Kenny has really good corner speed. It was noticeable. Really happy for Chase.

Did I miss something last night? I thought I saw Eli and Jett on the gate. Yes, they made life difficult for themselves. They all train to do what Sexton managed to do, win the race. Can it happen to any of them, sure but Sexton put it together. Hoping this is the preview of a great race season. Close lap times and a weekly uncertainty of who crosses the finish line !st. Tough 1st lap for Eli but made a great comeback to 5th. Not such a good ride from the back for guy stating he was looking at a 17-0 season.

It’s easy to look good when you’re not being pushed. Would we honestly expect KR or JA to push him anywhere close to his limit??

Put Eli & Jett in 2nd & 3rd and you’ve got a very different mindset from Chase.

We’ll see.
