Has anyone used a wheelchair ramp as a loading ramp to use with a tall pickup truck? I saw some today and it got me thinking, these thing are rated to 800 pounds, are 8, 10, or 12 feet long, 30 inches wide. They fold both ways so a 10 foot ramp folded is 5 feet long and 15 inches wide. It seems it would be so easy to ride the bike up to the bed, or walk it up slipping the clutch. But I have never seen anyone use one to load a bike before. These can be bought...

2015 ford transit t250 with 3.5 ecoboost. 110k miles, medium height. Aftermarket radio with car play and a backup cam, amp and sub under seat Will fit 3 big bikes in the back. E track in the cargo area used to lock down the bikes. I've owned it a few years and put about 18k miles on it myself. Recently did the brakes and have less than 400 miles on them since I just don't use it much anymore, use my toy hauler and trailer more so making room in the driveway I guess. Definitely bummed to see it go...

A couple years after having my 350, I thought maybe I need to go back to a 450. Rode my buddies new Kawi 450 and I couldn't believe how heavy it felt. Different strokes for different folks. I would sooner go down to a 250 than go up to a 450.

The kaw is what i was referring to lol. I understand though if youre a lugger. The new crf has tempted me as well. I did love my Yamaha and would recommend it to anyone wanting a 450.

Speaking of those ridiculous fuel prices, has anyone noticed anyone slowing down whatsoever? I’m old enough to remember people lamenting the 55 mph speed limit as a vestige of Carter era regulations. I see everything from passenger cars to brodozers to 53’ semis absolutely hauling ass everywhere. Guess what? If y’all would slow down you wouldn’t use so much of that high priced fuel. I’m really beginning to feel the same way about restaurants and most other discretionary spending establishments. If I don’t absolutely need it with no other option, I ain’t buying it. Just not worth it in so...

Have you seen the price of the new iPhone coming out? $2k wtf and you're gonna see people walking around with their $7 Starbucks it's ridiculous. Diesel is up to 8 bucks.. out here. As long as the sheep keep paying these prices it won't get any better

What material would that stem be made of? Possible bad material pair (ex: stainless-aluminum), crack initiated from a location of galvanic corrosion? Possible chemical corrosion crack-fatigue initiated by chlorinated brake cleaner?

9/4/2026 1:09pm I have sierra with the 5 3/4 bed. My tacoma has 6.5 and it is nice using that truck with the longer bed. For what I do 5 3/4 works but the 6.5 would be nice. Would be a lot of truck though with a crew cab.

I asked a very innocent question about a rider because I wasn't aware what had happened as I hadn't been following closely for a couple weeks... GuyB proceeded to belittle me as if I was stupid. He turned in to a bit of a twat towards the end of his service here.
