Has anyone used a wheelchair ramp as a loading ramp to use with a tall pickup truck? I saw some today and it got me thinking, these thing are rated to 800 pounds, are 8, 10, or 12 feet long, 30 inches wide. They fold both ways so a 10 foot ramp folded is 5 feet long and 15 inches wide. It seems it would be so easy to ride the bike up to the bed, or walk it up slipping the clutch. But I have never seen anyone use one to load a bike before. These can be bought for under $200, and to me seem safer than walking up a set of stairs next to a ramp. I guess it is kind of ironic to use a wheelchair ramp to load a dirtbike.

I use the harbor freight aluminum loading ramp that's meant for wheel chairs, it's only six feet long so steep on my lifted truck but I added grip tape on the left side and it makes loading the bike so much easier than a standard ramp, it's also wide enough to ride it up at the end of the day, it also has raised lips on either side so if you get off line the wheel won't roll off the ramp like on standard ramps.
Don't tempt fate bro
