MPJC Added a reply to Deegan’s attitude/ trash talk works
1 day ago Clearly, Deegan’s trash talking works. The mistake being made in this thread is to associate “works” with “improves race results”. That’s not the point. The point is to drive social media engagement, which the Deegans monetize. Haiden likely succeeds despite this, not because of it.

1 day ago He talked shit and he won but that doesn’t mean that he won because he talked shit.

6/14/2026 9:26am Maybe we can try to be positive around here for once? I’ve never meet people at the track that speak the way 3/4’s of the people on this form type. Either ya’ll don’t ride and aren’t part of the for real life moto community, or I’m extremely lucky to have never met the sub-culture of the moto community that this site represents.

6/12/2026 1:46pm Yaa but Prados also had a dnf at hangtown because his motor went. Prado was lucky it didn’t happen over a jump like Chases.

6/11/2026 10:32am You're always complaining about the media. Ever thought of starting your own outlet? You have a phone and an Internet connection. Start up a YouTube channel, and have at it. You can fill the void you think is missing. If you can get access and get people to talk openly about all the things you think are missing on a consistent basis, the channel will grow, and if you can't, your channel will stall and won't go anywhere unless you pivot to something else. Good luck.

6/10/2026 4:59am Makes sense. That’s a lot of bikes, which could cause some practical challenges if they have limited time to do the shootout. But it would be interesting to see.

6/9/2026 9:50pm I’m sorry about what happened to your friend. This woman didn’t just smack your friend Brad, she assaulted him with a weapon. There’s a massive chasm between this a the guy who beats his wife after she smacks him in the heat of an argument. Your friend was acting in defence of a third party in a situation where he...

6/9/2026 12:19pm You say: " you know full well that washingtonstat80-125cc is comparing and contrasting Jett, the smooth, calculated rider in control, with the more, wfo style of Deegan, hammering corners and getting a bit loose on the track?" I may be a bit thick, but I didn't know that. That's why I asked. If that's the point - that it takes...

6/8/2026 5:11am Insane how many people are writing off Prado because his bike blew up. I know most people on this board have lead poisoning but even then you'd think they'd be able to understand that a finish that's the result of a mechanical dnf is not indicative of a rider's ability.

6/7/2026 8:47pm I wouldn’t want him if I were his employer now. I also wouldn’t want to cut him loose to go to another team. I’d want to have him sit out without pay for a while to reconsider his choices. He has no right to treat his team like that no matter how upset he is. I think he needs psychological...

6/7/2026 8:16pm You said: “Fearlessness and willingness while staring in the face of a much greater power and believing that you can still be victorious in spite of every conceivable metric being stacked against you—that is bravery.” If someone offers a definition, you can test it to see if it is too broad (includes things that shouldn’t meet the definition) by citing...

6/7/2026 5:14pm Colloquially, bravery and courage tend to be used interchangeably. You list fearlessness and belief that you can prevail despite having reason to believe you can’t as defining bravery. You offered a definition and I used a counter example to show that it is deficient. A drunk idiot that picks a fight with a bigger man has met that definition. This...

6/7/2026 3:36pm I think that bravery is, as you say, connected to fearlessness. But there’s nothing especially praiseworthy about that. Bravery can, in that sense, be the product overconfidence just as easily as justifiable confidence. People get braver - and stupider - when they are drunk. Courage, on the other hand, is a virtue. The courageous person acts despite being afraid. Aristotle...

6/7/2026 2:40pm Talent and bravery can be both present in the same person. Given what we know about Jett’s injury, he’s got to be riding with considerable pain. I’m not saying anything to question what Deegan’s balls are made of, but what exactly is he doing or has he done that exceeds the level of bravery currently displayed by Jett?

6/7/2026 12:52pm Honestly I thought the track prep yesterday benefited Prado because it resembled the way MXGP does things. It wasn’t ripped as deep and didn’t get as rutty as it has in the past and the track was really fast.
