Great time today. Should be on every motorcycle fanatics bucket list. The museum alone is worth the trip. Went to the museum at the Birmingham SX round last year. But the Vintage Fest is icing on the cake. Vintage Roadracing. Vintage Motocross on the amazing new track. The endless swap meet. Demo rides. Even saw the new Triumph 450 RC Edition. Looks amazing by the way. And so many bikes there. A few legends as well. King Kenny Roberts. And Junior. And I randomly ran into Mr. Daytona, Scott Russell, in the paddock area.

I've subscribed to MXGP TV off and on since 2017. In 2017 the "early-bird" price was about $70. In 2023 it was up to $115, or about an 8% average increase year-over-year. In 2024 it was $125, or a 9% increase. In 2025 it jumps to $145, or an almost 15% increase! It seems like they're just dialing up the increases without any real added value. For example: - they can't even get a proper leaderboard on the left-side of the screen and instead keep running that crappy scrolling one along the bottom where you miss half the race trying...

Forgot that I had weighed the Tech 10s and the 22s. Same size for both. The Astars (with bootie) were 5oz lighter per boot on my little postage scale.

You mean the part that he has been open with the whole time since SX? And then the ankle at Spring Creek, Burnt arm at Unadilla and twisted knee again at Charlotte. The Hymas/HRC camp has been nothing but transparent and compared to the guy that downplayed his injury big time this winter. Hymas more or less begged to be on team the whole summer this is not comparable.

I don't think the AMA should be the least bit concerned about parity... because the issue can be 100%, totally, completely avoided by creating a separate class for them. If they didn't learn anything else from the 4T/2T "parity" disaster, they should know that this is an apples to oranges issue, not a Golden Delicious vs. Honeycrisp one like the different IC engines were.

I first started riding seriously during this generation. Be it nostalgia or just a darn good bike, but I love them. The 05-07 red bikes will always have a place in my garage. (not included; 06 250R and 07 125 I still regret losing)

What’s more important feel or the scale? I’d argue a slightly heavier bike with a lower CoG that “feels” lighter is better.

Welp, lets talk about the elephant in the room... I got fired. BUT, the Madparts Kawi team took me in, and bent over backwards to get me ready for Unadilla. Considering I had a day and a half on the bike, I am beyond stoked on how my first race day with the team went. Excited to finish off the 2025 season strong. Lets keep things rolling!
