6/3/2026 10:03am Similar injury eight years ago. Treat the PT like a full time job and take an extra couple weeks off the bike beyond what the doc recommends. Outside of the obvious strengthening stuff, work your ass of to get and keep as much ROM as possible. It's super difficult to get back after it's gone.

6/1/2026 7:06am Aden was well into the show on timed session 1 combined, around 20th. His clutch had an issue in session 2 and cost him putting in a laptime, the session was much better than the first so he was bumped to the LCQ. Crashed in the first turn, got up and passed over 20 people in four laps. Shit happens. There's your truth. Another piece of truth, you're being an internet dick right now.

5/24/2026 6:36am Shit like this is why I chuckle every time someone scoffs at disassembling/greasing/checking torques on brand-new bikes when I get them home. Just off the top of my head, I’ve found on brand-new bikes fresh from PDI: -loose bars -loose front axle clamps -dry gearbox (93 CR125) -and others. I wouldn’t trust dealer techs with my cheap lawnmower, let alone my safety on my bike.

5/18/2026 11:48am +1 for these little Ryobi units. Just mounted one of these on the garage wall using a heavy duty steel bracket. Added some quick connect fittings and a 50' soft hose. Works great! Inspiration: https://youtu.be/TN4RdVIKyuA?si=b936I9xUvpf3DcwL

5/12/2026 7:09am In my opinion, 175 is too lean on pump fuel... At least here on the west coast at sea level. I haven't run pump fuel in a lot of years, but I'd venture the guess that @SoCalMX70 is right about running the 48. I run 45 pilot / 175 main on a 50/50 fuel mix using Trick 110 leaded and 92 ethanol free pump. You really have to do the testing to know for sure... Have a clean air filter when you test. Work your way up through the circuits and stay within the throttle range where they operate when...

5/5/2026 7:05am I refuse to add up what I spend on bikes, entry and race fees, gear, any of it. It’s undoubtedly an outlandish number but moto is second, only to my family, of the things that keep me sane in an insane world.

5/5/2026 7:05am I got about $5k into this ‘04 RM 250 build. I loved my YZ but this thing is very YZish and fully built to my liking. This bike reminds me that dirt bike technology has made some strides but not as far as you think (for 2 strokes anyway).

5/5/2026 6:59am I think it’s cool. He’s made a lot of progress over the years through pure hard work. I don’t care what connections Kris has, Aden had to put the work in to get where he is. Hope he can get near the top 10-15

4/15/2026 10:17am CFMoto has had an interesting curve in the states. Most of their sharp rise domestically can be tracked back to the 'rona days when they were out-producing all the other manufacturers in the four wheel off road space, and doing it by a wide margin. I was working for another competing OEM at the time. It was pretty wild watching...

ithinkitsbroke Added a reply to YZ250 Gearbox Upgrades - Broken 3rd or 4th gears on a Two Stroke?
4/13/2026 12:08pm +1 interest from me as well. Current winter project is rebuilding my old 04' YZ250 that I bought back from my Dad a couple years ago. I would also be interested in a "group buy" with other folks in the future if that makes things more appealing from a financial perspective. There's enough YZ250 fans out there these days. Also...

4/13/2026 12:01pm I hate to be a disappointment, but currently I'm not offering this as a service or a product, but if I do, I will come back here and make it known... I have a working setup that is proven to be very durable, but lack a good business / production plan that makes sense for me and for potential customers. More than likely, I can come up with a shift fork upgrade kit this year. I did some simplifications and improvements on the gearbox upgrades a year ago while building some bottom ends for a pro racer from the northwest...

cwtoyota Liked a reply to forum topic Shorter shifter lever for the 19-22 Austrian 350F?
4/7/2026 6:38pm That's great info. I'll keep that in mind as a potential solution. So you're getting -18 length with the 125cc shifter. If I add a +10 tip to that, I'm at -8mm which would be fine. In terms of clearance, it's forged aluminum and could be tweaked outward a little with some heat. Follow that with a water quench, then some artificial aging in the toaster oven and the strength would return.

4/7/2026 12:33pm In my opinion, you are correct about where your foot pivots and the effect of wider pegs. The reach to the shifter is a lot longer when measured from the front edge, that's what I originally checked with the same thought process of pivoting on that edge to shift. Above I referenced the centerline of the peg to eliminate the peg width as a variable from the conversation... Front edge of peg to shifter centerline: YZ125 = 140mm (2010 YZ250F pegs) YZ250 = 140mm (Aftermarket same width as the YZ-F pegs) KX500 = 133mm (2010 YZ250F pegs) KX450 = 133mm...

4/7/2026 10:48am I can’t contribute to the differences between the two specs of the pipes. But I wanted to share a tip for keeping raw pipes looking good and easier to maintain. Clean your exhaust up really good and coat it with Cerakote wipes ($15 for 10 wipes on Amazon) and it keeps the rust off. The only place I have to touch up is the initial curved section. Very minimal scuffing in that spot then reapply and it looks perfect again. The main portion of the exhaust doesn’t get hot enough to do anything to the coating. It does give a...

4/7/2026 6:28am “We did everything on this 350 build that we’ve done on every 350 we’ve built for the last ten years. We did everything under the sun, sent the ECU to Twisted Development, Decal Works graphics and seat cover, and Dunlop Tires. Thanks to Dunlop for sponsoring this video.” Followed by 2 minutes of warming the bike up in the pits, 2 clips of it on the track, and then 10 minutes of rambling about tunable ECUs and acting like it’s the first one to ever exist.
