Deegs ego couldn't handle having his azz handed to him by a bunch of Euros, no doubt, he'll be skipping out (again). Keep waving that red, white and blue flag Deegs...LoL.
How does this lowlife, shattalking tool actually have fans?
You lost me.
Yes the GP’s have issues BUT what does that have to do with Deegandashian wanting start & bonus money to represent America? He has multimillions of dollars. He doesn’t give two shits about GP riders or how they get paid. Nobody else is demanding iit. Herlings, DeWolf, Everts, Coenen’s, etc, etc want that Deegandashian ass. No other American is asking either.
This topic is a made up smokescreen
Jett and Hunter stepping down and not defending the Chamberlain Trophy. VitalMX: They deserve a break.

Deegan not going to MXoN because of a broken collarbone. VitalMX: Fucking unpatriotic loser!
Well then, who can argue with that feisty retort?

LOL, you forgot to mention the part where Deegs has managed to have a different lame excuse every year to dodge out of the mxdn...never mind that he struts around with the American flag any chance he gets....What a tool. No doubt , his ego couldn't handle getting smoked by the Euros in Ernee.
How many times have the Lawrences raced the MXoN? How many times has Deegan raced the MXoN?
It's almost like people are more understanding when you go year after year and deliver wins for your country vs. coming up with a new excuse every year.
The great thing about vitalmx is that it's easy to look at a user's posting history. And yours shows that you have always disliked Haiden Deegan since he entered the pro ranks...and it all seems to go back to his dad.

There is no reason to take anything you say about Deegan seriously. It seems the running joke isn't Haiden Deegan but his haters.
Deegan is a real patriot,he never raced the mxdn, end of the story!Rip Deegan
Its not about which rider can win, its about risk vs reward. I know you think there is no way Deegan can win or Cooper but if they get hurt they have no chance and for what bragging rights?
Why don't you pay for a ticket and fly acrost the country pay for your meals and stay than do your job for free. I net you would not do it.
Most people don't like others who are a piece of chit... see... some people have this thing called morals... something you don't know anything about, you have none... after the constant cheating (literally from birth), fn a kid over at LLs, his nepo baby ways, wearing our flag but not representing his country, and his constant chit talking that he doesn't back up, see, that's what a POS does... and most people don't dig that... others, like you, don't gaf about anything at all, hence why you get on your knees for thy mighty cringe lord... congrats, you a POS like him... and thanks for making that easy to identify with you... 🙂
You nailed it!
You're exactly right. The Deegan's deepthroaters and proxies - including on here - are trying to shift the narrative away from the fact Donger and his dad Lips are completely fake, money hungry and unpatriotic to unsubstantiated claims about the Luongo's business model. Even more egrecious is the implication that the Deegans are sticking it to the man by demanding 'fair pair for fair work'. What bullshit. The Deegans don't give two shits about anything but themselves.
Also, Donger doesn't want to get smoked by the Euros...
Like he's getting smoked by the Lawrences.

The running joke is Donger's 450 results...

Funny you there talking about morals while making personal attacks.
So you hate the way Deegan acts so you in return, act like Deegan?
Teams should have always been paid minimum expenses for riders, mechanics, manager and one gopher.
The current arrangement the Luongo's have with the MXDN gives them little incentive to change anything. Like any business, the goal is to maximize revenue while keeping costs as low as possible. If you have people willing to show up and offer their services "for free", why would you change anything that will affect your costs?
If riders want to be paid to attend, they need to recognize their collective bargaining power and stop showing up to ride for “free.” No riders at the MXDN means no ticket sales and, ultimately, no event. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to hit them where it hurts to force meaningful change.
Under the current system, if riders are not being compensated directly, then they—or their agents—need to negotiate better terms not only with the promoter, but with the OEMs themselves. A rider’s contract could include a clause stating that if they are selected for the MXDN, their participation is separately compensated. The teams and federations would then need to negotiate an appropriate stipend for attendance for their attendance.
The above is based on numerous accounts from people at various levels of the sport who have indicated that the MXDN is essentially a pro-bono event for professional riders. The argument that riders should simply go for free because they are representing their country fails to recognize the reality of today’s professional athlete. From professional sports to college athletics and even amateur competition, athletes increasingly expect to be compensated for their time, talent, likeness and participation. Pick virtually any sport from pro through college and even down to an amateur level — people want to get paid these days. You can wish it to be different - but those are simply the facts and, with most, the honor of being chosen doesn't seem to have the gravity it once did before.
In general, I think the MXDN needs a significant revamp.
* Every team should receive a set attendance stipend. This stipend should be intended to cover reasonable travel and participation costs for the riders and the necessary team personnel. It has been said that many riders incur significant expenses to attend the MXDN. However, from the stories I have heard, the event can also turn into a bit of a bro-down, with riders bringing their entire crew along for what effectively becomes a vacation scheduled around an MX event. If a rider's significant other wants to attend the MXDN because it is being held in France, Italy, or another desirable destination and wants to turn it into a personal vacation, that is a cost the rider's household should bear—not the team or federation.
* The stipend should be a “use it or lose it” amount. Depending on where a team is traveling from, actual costs may exceed the stipend by a significant amount. At that point, the federation can decide whether it is willing to cover the additional expense or whether it makes more sense to sit out that particular year.
* The event should be held every three years, or every other year at the most. This would give teams, federations, and manufacturers adequate time to plan and budget for the event. The manufacturers should also be responsible for covering the logistics associated with getting the bikes and necessary team equipment to the event.
* All bikes should be stock, homologated production units—not even factory editions. Every rider should compete on a showroom-stock 250 or 450. Engines and transmissions should remain stock and sealed. Frames and swingarms should be tagged and inspected. Suspension, airboxes, wheels, hubs, exhaust systems, and other major components should remain stock. No aftermarket electronics or starting devices should be permitted. Put everyone out there on equal (as possible) equipment. Let the riding do the talking.
* Riders should be allowed to personalize basic controls. Teams could change handlebars, levers, grips, footpegs, and seats to suit individual rider preferences. Suspension spring rates can be changed for a rider's dimensions, and sprockets and chains can be adjusted for track conditions and rider preference.
* Normal wear items are replaceable with OEM-equivalent parts. Filters, tires, fluids, cables, clutch plates, brake pads, chains, sprockets, and similar consumables should be replaceable during the event as needed. The key is that replacements remain OEM-equivalent. You shouldn't be able to remove a stock braking system because the pads wore out and replace it with factory billet calipers. This leads to equipment parity and causes a rider to manage their equipment.
* All bikes, spare parts, consumables, and fuel should pass technical inspection and remain impounded until the event begins. The bike a rider qualifies on should be the bike that remains impounded until the start of the first moto. Teams could perform necessary maintenance between motos within the impound area, but only with a predetermined number of team personnel.
* The AMA needs to become much more organized in its team-selection process. Every year, putting together the U.S. team seems to become a fire drill, with decisions being made at the last minute. There should be a clearly established timeline. Teams should be required to submit a provisional roster by a predetermined date, followed by a firm deadline for the finalized riders, alternates, and team manager.
The MXDN is a unique event and still has tremendous value to the sport. But tradition shouldn't be an excuse for maintaining a system that no longer reflects the realities of professional racing.
If the promoters, manufacturers, federations, and riders want the event to remain successful, they need to create a structure that works for everyone—not one that relies on professional athletes continuing to absorb the costs simply because “that's the way it's always been.” This may have been the way of the past, and the purist in me wishes it was still this same way, but that's not the reality moving forward.
Additionally, I realize most, if not all, of this is pie-in-the-sky stuff or maybe not even suggestions that point in the right direction. But every year, the same concerns, criticisms and complaints come up and no change is ever in acted. The riders need to get to the front and drive the conversation if they want real change to happen.
I didn’t say they were. He asked which American was gonna win the 2027 SX championship. I listed off some guys who I believe have the ability to win it.
Pit Row
LOL...and you've been licking Deeg's ballzack since you came to this site a little less than a year ago. Do you EVER post about anything here that's not about your boy crush?
At least I didn't come here specifically to stick up for some young arrogant blowhard that measures his success by clicks.
I don’t think Star is taking an unreasonable position, it’s not cheap to send bikes, personnel, equipment etc. My issue is that every single year it seems like it gets 3 rounds from the end of outdoors and then everyone acts as if this race just crept up on them and nobody was expecting it and now they suddenly need to find budget. The USA have been sending a team to this event for the best part of 50 years, it happens at the same time every year, it shouldn’t be a surprise. This all should have been done months ago, they (the AMA/MX sports/FELD and whoever else is involved) should be planning for MXdN 2027 now.
Pulp has consistently raised over 100k for privateers for 5 or 6 years in a row now. There’s 31 races across the SMX season all of which have tens of thousands of spectators. Even a low level fundraising effort at even half of them would raise a decent amount of money and take a lot of the financial burden away. It’s too late to get to August and now all of a sudden you need to find 100K. They should have started finding that money in January at the lastest
It's pretty clear Star is covering for Dboy plain and simple. They have plenty of coin to run 10 riders in the 250 class, but when it comes to sending Dboy who waives that American flat every chance he gets to France , they suddenly have to tighten the purse strings. They've sent other riders without batting an eye in the past.
No doubt, Dboy couldn't handle getting smoked in France ...so why go? Props to Star for covering for him.
I’ve said before why not put $1, €1, £1 from every spectator at their nationals into a pot for MXdN then there would be no problem, could also build up spectators being more involved/ patriotic by being a small part of getting the team there ????
lol Olympians are paid zero to compete in the Olympics. They do however get paid by any sponsorships and endorsements they earn from competing, just like your boy Deegan.
100% false. The rumor was Deegan asked for podium/race win bonus. Which EXACTLY how the Olympics work with regards to medaling.
The AMA should have a fund that pays for the riders and teams expenses to go. No rider purse though. It should be their job to raise the needed funds. Deegan should go either way and be proud to do it.
Geez, with all the fanatical bedbug fans that are going to be disappointed with their boy's team running out of money...why don't you Dboy fans set up a go-fund-me page. Gotta feel sorry for the multi-millionaire Star folks that are unable to rub a couple coins together to make this happen.
Thinking...When Tomac and JCoop have gone in the past on their Star Yamahas, did that happen because Eli set up a go-fund-me page to make it happen?
Edit : LoL...we all know Star is bucks up and would send a rider...IF a rider actually wanted to go. Deegs has zero interest.
Where did you hear the rumor was about podium/win bonus? Matthes wrote on Racer X that the rumor was about a bonus, but he didn’t tie it to any performance.
LOL ok, do you think bonus money is NOT tied to performance? Come on man. put 2 and 2 together.... Its NOT a leap based on how CURRENT bonuses are paid in SX and MX....
Previous iterations of the “rumor” as voiced by certain members of Vital suggested that he wanted to get paid for simply going. My biggest beef is that no one wants to actually confirm this rumor and set the record straight. My secondary beef is with what seems to be a request for preferential treatment. NO ONE has suggested the rumor is Deegan wants everyone to benefit from win bonuses at the MXoN.
Or did you hear differently? And again, my question to you: where did you hear this?
They should indeed do the crowd funding like we do it in the UK, Belgium and it seems like they did it in the US too some time ago. If they do a 50/50 lotto, sell shirts and caps... in every National/Youth National/Supercross they can earn close to 500k.
