7/28/2026 1:00pm I have attended every professional MX/SX event I possibly could for decades. Not once did I ever even consider a freestyle event. To me it never seemed like a MX/SX event. They are more of a counterculture event, like skate boarding. Nobody I know you races or rides MX has ever attended on either.

Donger will get a small graze on his finger just before MXDN and say he's 'banged up'. He's not gone three years in a row. The real reasons for this are: doesn't want to go unless the team has a legit chance to win; he won't go unless he gets paid (as you point out). There's no way the US will win MXDN this year, so Donger is out. The fact it's the 250-year anniversary of the founding of the United States won't mean anything to the 'patriotic' Deegans.
