There are plenty of what-ifs. What if Prado got his bike dialed earlier in the season? What if Jett wasn't coming back from an injury? What if Deegan learned to ride in a higher gear earlier in the season? What if Tomac didn't crash in the first moto at Fox? The list goes on. Deegan also had a couple motos where he had to back it down in order to avoid a DNF. I don't remember the circumstances around Prado's DNF. In the end, Deegan got 3rd, Prado got 4th. To answer your questions, I can only speak for myself...

I gotta tell you, I'm not a fan of the podium trash talk. He comes off so unnatural and forced. But the behind the scenes clips of him trash talking Jett, like at Budds, are hilarious! I love it. Deegan had a great year. Won a SX reg titile...basically going undefeated. Entered as a rookie in 450 MX and knows where he has to improve...finishing 3rd in the chmpshp against probably the most gifted rider, and his brother, the sport has ever seen. I'd say that is pretty darn good as well. There were zero veteran 450 riders that were even in the same zip code aginst the top 3 in MX...except Prado at the end. Yup...I'd say Deegs had a GREAT year.

Right, cmon. The blinders some people have when it comes to Deegz. And I criticize him all the time. But he had an amazing season. What are we doing here?

Dude won a 250 SX title, signed a massive deal with fox and rounded out the podium in his rookie season on a 450. I’d take that bad year every day of the week.

Give or take 2 years before it flips to LETS GO DEEGAN ? I remember the dislike for webbs cockiness, now he’s captain America and the wagon is filling up again. Ken roczen was a cry baby who always makes excuses, and now everyone is the biggest fan after he switched to HEP. August 2025, vital said that Prado was headed back to Europe because he’ll never make it over here. All of that while still salivating over bob hannahs attitude and comments in the 80’s.

His (Jett's) rookie season was better than every other racer in AMA history...correct??? So...Jett is one of the best ever. Deegan finished 3rd in his rookie season. Better than probably 95% of anyone in their rookie season in the premier class. Yeah, Deegan sucks. Poor fkng guy just can't ride or compete at all.
