Do people even look at this photo? It's clearly an AI generated image, the damn header is just coming out of the frame, the weird Chinese writing on the rims/swingarm/etc, the god awful side number plates, missing spokes, weird ass rotors, not to mention the frame looks nothing like the actual frame. It just goes on and on... Grinning

The hexagon shaped rear sprocket is brilliant though. They say it smooths power delivery similar to an oval chainring on a mountain bike. Should see them on all the bikes in SX next season.

Geee....I wonder where they got the inspiration for the frame.

not to mention a more radical jump in design and appearance would be nice. the AI renderings look cool but c'mon guys, we've been in this slow drip, incremental design evolution for more than ten years. let's hope Triumph really but their CAD designers to work and created something next-level. these renderings are just bringing more sand to the beach.

Has anyone commented yet that it looks a lot like an 06-09 YZF frame?

I for one thoroughly enjoyed vid on the chassis and their efforts to convey how passionate the design team was.  Is there a more critical component of a motocross machine that defines it?

Wouldn't that be great 20K rpm engines!

When the commercial comes out the bike will all be blurred like a Girls Gone Wild video.  This is gonna be hilarious.

The next pic coming up will be a swing arm mounted 12x12x4 inch ECU by Lucas Electric, that weighs 16.5 pounds, can’t wait!

I'm just beside myself with excitement at the prospect of Ricky's gracious consideration of "possibly" riding the bike "for you guys".

Such an honor to have Ricky ride the bike "for me". I've never had anyone ride a motocross bike for me. The guy is just so kind and generous to those of us down here among the proletariat. I'm pretty much glued to Triumph's youtube channel waiting to see what Ricky decides. He did say "might" so it's not a sure thing. Fingers crossed.

Here's the source article accompanying the AI-genned image.

If that new Triumph looks anything close to this, has good power, is reliable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg I'd consider getting one, because I really like the look.

Cosworth has been doing mx engines for a while. Covington's mx2 bike was a Cosworth. Hell I think Zach O's bike may have had a Cosworth engine when he did the gps'?

Dixon has 3 speeded 250's for ages, Zacho used to rev them that hard , he used to have new cases every 3 races, from what i remember, but while you can rev them hard, reliability vaporises past a certain point

I remember Steve Dixon getting an after hours tour at Ilmor when i was there, before he hooked up with Cosworth, we had no interest in selling parts, just getting payed for the work we do, so there was no deal to be had, as there was no payback from parts.

He ever did his own 4 valve head for the Yamaha, IIRC.

This is the absolute worst roll-out execution I've ever heard of.

I'm intrigued by the exhaust using the frame like the old YZ250f using the frame as an oil tank. Basically like a really long header, right?
