Hey guys, Just wanted to take a second and give the TechAir some airspace. Yesterday I wore it for the first time at the WORCS/NGPC and coincidentally had my biggest get off in 20 years of riding. COLD HARD FACTS! This year sx for obvious reasons kept my attention to the very end. And it still didn't hold a candle to mx. Riding weather in the Northeast is so prime right now at least. 70 degrees in the morning

Steve brought up on his podcast that its weird how the guy who gets the most points and stays healthy across sx and mx doesnt get anything, but apparently ama has been approached by the teams about this and is considering it. It would have to be grand national champion right? Thats what it used to be. They dont need the blue plate or anything smx already does that, but what do u guys think, bring it back?

GM Performance Power Units has a ton of postings out there right now, based out of Concord. They'll be Cadillac's power unit supplier from 2029 on, with Cadillac using Ferrari PUs through '28. Wonder if it's with them. I applied for one of the analyst positions and never heard back, unfortunately. Good for Duffe though!

100% Physics doesn't care about your feelings. All his career so far HD has managed to go fast by trying to look like he is going fast. You cant do that on a 450. All the fastest 450 guys in the world, look like they are on a sunday ride to church, and sound like they are trying to do it while not waking the neighbours. Roczen, Lawrences,Herlings, Prado, all look slower than the guys chasing them .... Gajser this year seems to be revving the nuts out of the Yamaha compared to the Honda and looks worse for it...

To be fair, not a single bike out there will handle well when you are on the rev limiter into corners and out of corners. That rear end is always bound while the Lawrences who ride the bike properly, in lower rpms, frees up the chassis. With that said, they have the particular advantage of both of them being fast, having similar setups, and can compare to get the best setup possible. Technique, bike setup, and the rider will evolve with time. Hell, he is this good riding it the hard way. Fun to see the evolution

Since the start of the season the Honda bikes have looked buttery smooth in all the track conditions, deegans bike looks like the back tire is fighting to stay in contact with the ground. Last race i noti ed him riding the back wheel more then usual .

Deegan had worked his way through the pack in Moto 1 and had expended a lot of energy crashing and passing people in the first moto. (moreso than Jett and Hunter), who had hole-shotted and had a clear first half of the race. In moto 2, he was more gassed than them. By the end of moto 2, when opportunity arose, to pass Jett, he clearly did not have the energy. You can see it clearly in Buttery's video.

No one on this earth is faster than Jett- that's the baseline. I think Deegan can run Jett's pace, but he is at 110% effort (unsustainable) and would not be able to ride "faster" to catch / pass him (unless Jett makes a mistake). Riding this faster pace- He will need to also improve his bike set up to run that speed more consistent, including getting comfortable himself at that speed. Jett will already go down as the fastest rider ever (one of)- hard for anyone to come up against and beat that...

Portrayed personality aside, Deegan is having an impressive start on 450s. He is unfortunately being compared to two guys who are just that much more impressive. Haiden set high expectations with his cockiness but if we are fair, his performance is impressive.

You would have thought MXSports would have learned their lesson with FLO when the nationals were on there for a short time. No one could watch and then had their bank accounts continually charged when they tried to cancel. That was a huge topic here on Vital, I believe part of the reason Davey departed here. I guess I won't be watching any of Loretta's this year.

I will occasionally run the AT81EX when I need a gummy style tire, but I don't like the lean angle traction on it as much as I do on the AT82. I love how Dunlops wear too. If you weren't picky, you could get mega hours out of a set of tires.

MX34 front AT82 rear for literally any track. I've heard good about the AT82 front too, but haven't tried it yet. I like the look of the MX54 rear, but the 52 and 53 were not very good IMO.
