12/15/2025 11:53am Those have been on modern EFI dirt bikes since EFI came out. Those take a few seconds to shut the bike down. It's what kills your bike when laying on the ground. Start an EFI machine, lay it down, count about 3 seconds. That tip over sensor can keep it from starting as well.

9/16/2025 7:39am I used to do that to almost all my levers back when I was racing full time. It's a trick that always worked for me too. I'd even fill the hole with RTV so I didn't feel it on my finger when racing. Then breakaway levers became a thing and I've ran them ever since.

The flagger's job is to alert riders coming towards the accident and keep them away from the downed rider/medical crew to helping. The are protecting the downed rider!
