Sad but not that surprising as Buffet's moves right now are very defensive.

Not cool as the sx seasons starts in only 4 months.

A page is turning for this team so I hope they find a good sponsor. They have a great package and the fact that Jett has already so many fans and that JMart is a title contender may help them to secure a long term deal.

Solid team putting in the results. I dont think they will have a problem finding a new sponsorship. Wish them well.
Just bad timing really in finding a company that wants to outlay big on a hobby sport

The timing may not be ideal but I think 4 months will be enough to pull the rabbit out of the hat.

They will have people working on it as we speak.

I just think the days of having 6 riders are over for that team. They will have to cut back to at least 4 I would imagine

That has to be a big cheque to be a title sponsor for this team. First class in every way-loyal to injured riders, great developmental system, big roster. This team has done it right for a long time. I thought Geico always got tremendous value from this partnership. Too bad, they have been great for the sport for a long time.

I wonder if Geico will still sponsor the Nationals? Will we hear Weege say " Save 15% more on car or motorcycle insurance " at the 15:00 minute mark next year? Hopefully they don't leave the sport entirely.

It’s alright guys, 3DP Moto is going to step up and save this team. I just need sales to increase by about 50000% and we’ll be well on our way to a big logo on a factory rig Whistling

I can think of 12 guys that have just under or at 2k a month in insurance with Geico that will find out about this and start looking to switch. I have full geico and geico owned company's for insurance and will be looking to switch house, 4 home vehicles, boat, jet ski, 5 commercial vehicles, 2 companys, and my bikes. Plus 1 condo rental and the renters have to have renter insurance which they always go with geico/Assurant at my suggestion. I know i could save about 20% splitting it up but im good supporting those that support the sport. Guess I'll have the office start shopping this week. My monthly insurance is over 1k a month. So that's that's roughly 20k a month lost or 240k a year I can't imagine their losing much money on this in terms of marketing and sponsorship. Is it a loss yes im sure it always is. But it should be sustainable.

Makes you wonder who's gonna be released from their contracts over there. Lawrence bros would fetch a high premium at this stage of the game I bet

I buy Geico insurance products for my business, 8 commercial vehicles, 4 personal autos, 6 dirt bikes, and my home. I also use their sister company Guard for workman’s comp insurance.

If they really are leaving this sport, then it’s time for me to leave Geico. They have never been the most cost effective insurer, but I use them primarily because they are involved in motocross and Suoercross.

Hopefully Mr. Buffet hears his biggest cash cow is planning this, and tells Geico to reconsider losing a lot of off road enthusiasts ...
I couldn't get GEICI Ins. for my bike. Progressive either. Their quotes came back rejected since the VIN indicated a closed course competition bike. Plus they were too expensive.

All moto fans need to cancel their GEICO insurance and go elsewhere. Let GEICO see we are speaking with our wallets.

I am a huge fan of Liquid IV. Best hangover cure. They also have some very rich people backing them. Demi Lovato, Kevin Hart, Kendall Jenner, Hailey and Justin Bieber, James Corden just to name a few. They could 100% afford this.

They've supported the sport for about ten years now. On one hand, people are gonna pull out the pitch forks on the brand for leaving, but there's also the fact that they've pumped millions and millions into the sport for the past decade...how is that viewed in retrospect?

If brands coming into the sport see that their reputations will be burnt to the grown if they dare leave...they may shy away from being involved at all.

I think the TV and broadcast rights are valuable enough to keep things from regressing to that level, but you may be directionally correct.

The Geico deal was struck based on racing in front of big stadium crowds. That is highly unlikely to be the reality for the next few years, and this is one of the first shows to drop for the teams.

I get this sentiment totally, we don’t have to rage about it. It’s just business. However, they don’t get a free pass for pulling out. Their sponsorship dollars were contracts that have been fulfilled and that means the benefits of sponsoring are now fulfilled. They made a business decision and everyone else can too. Plus they are super overpriced and not the greatest company to deal with. I’m saying that as a current multi-policy owner for years.

The ideal situation is everyone thanks them for their support over the years then takes their money elsewhere to companies that aren’t as expensive. Geico realizes this and actually comes back to the sport down the line. No need for flame throwing a company and scaring them from ever coming back to the sport.
