I think they're quite happy with him. Could they decide to pony up for AC and Roczen? Maybe. But I wouldn't call Seely a failure.

I dont know if this was brought up because i aint reading 11 pages of posts but It makes sense AC goes to honda because he and kr are homeboys who train together. AND cycle news reports that Tomac actually did resign with kawi

Makes sense KR stays. MM stays. I think Cole's fate at Honda depends on if they get AC or not. Would you replace Cole with JS17 or Dean Wilson? Probably not if you are Honda. They seem pretty loyal to their riders and will give Cole another year.

Kawi will not let AC get away. JS17 goes to make room if AC moves up. That is 'why' they only gave him a one year deal. If AC does not win the title I suspect he will stay 250 for another year. But he should get it done and be on a 450 next year with Eli.

I don't think they will do a three-rider team (wish they would) so that leaves JS17 at JGR or maybe a teammate for BB4???

Will AC train with Eli in CO if this all happens?

If I'm Honda, and I can't get AC because he goes to Kawi, then I go after Savatgy big time and try to keep Cole on red with MCR. Cole is 29 and currently in his 5th year of the 450 class. Savatgy is 25, a rookie, and his stock is rising.

Eli needs to train with someone fast soon. It can't be good just turning laps with no one even close to your speed out there at the same time.
Did you guys listen to cole gress on the pulpmx show? He explained that his biggest regret was not getting AC on Suzuki’s. He said that they were working out a deal to get him on as an amateur but the Tomas’s threw a huge fuss about it and said if he was going to be on Suzuki then they would switch so the deal never got done.

After hearing that I don’t see how Tomac is going to handle AC joining factory Kawi. Seems like tomac has always wanted to be the main guy and doesn’t want to have his spot threatened. I don’t see them training together at all or do I see it going well when AC starts becoming the main guy. If AC joins factory kawi its only a matter of time till tomac leaves.

Marvin will most likely finish out his career at KTM. He will probably even take paycuts to do so if he has to.
Whenever KTM decides to let him go, I suspect he will hang up his boots.

With all the riders looking for contract, I wouldnt be surprised if AC stays down in 250s next year.

Wilson will either be the third wheel at Husky once again, or do the Husky/rockstar privateer thing I think.

If it did happen probably Roczen would not train with Aldon.

I still don't see why Honda would want MM though.

Even though Joey has exceeded a lot of expectations, if Marvin is willing to re-sign at KTM then Decoster would absolutely have to want to take him. He's won a lot of 450 races for KTM. In 2020 he will win more races for KTM. I don't see Joey winning races in 2020, even though he's riding well. He's not on the tier of the top guys, yet.

I would go with youth. I like Joey and feel he has the right attitude. Never did like how MM has an excuse for everything. Marvin is old news and on the downside of his career. RC likes Joey!

Just like everyone says DeCoster will only work with certain riders, I would be the same. KTM does not need MM, they have Cooper!

I don't think MM will win any races in 2020.

I just thought it was interesting that roczen is rumored to be talking to them. Especially with the aldon and webb drama. Just seems like it would be a deal where Kenny would be on his own program while the others worked at bakers. Maybe that's what Kenny needs is a change in program again.

When Canard was the 3rd guy on the team he was not training with Aldon. I tell you KTM is looking for someone to replace MM. Maybe MM will stay one more year but his days are almost done (speed wise) and they need another top guy.

Honda kicked RC to the curb in his prime... I could see it easily, marv is getting old, has had opportunities to win 450 championships and he's failed to capitalize and does he really want to be second fiddle to webb?

In regards to MM25. Don't all riders in their 30's end up at Suzuki??? (little historical MX humor)

Maybe he is affordable for JGR and might get them some podiums or even a win here and there.

I dont think Kenny will get the money he has at Honda counting on the fact he isnt beating marvin or even running the same pace as him
