again, these are pre-production bikes we have been seeing. Production bikes a a few months out, it will be fine! For example, at the Honda intro a few weeks ago in Millville, the media wasnt aloud to ride the WE bike sitting in the pits, only Canard was. Canard said it was because they were still working on ECU settings and didnt want the media to ride it yet. That too is a bike a couple months out from being available. Mapping can be changed in minutes, even in the dealership. Not a big deal.

I’m just waiting for the same guy who argues that 2-strokes are better because you don’t need to put XYZ into them…then buys a 327 and ports it/mills the head/remaps the ECU/puts on a pipe and silencer…

Tim Gjaser is an example of someone who gave it 100 percent last year and saw nothing in return by way of race wins. Sexton proved he could win on Kawasaki if things went his way. Tim didn't win an overall in any scenario, whether his competitors were having a bad race or not.

Yeah, Kenny would have been in recovery for several years on any brand. I think HEP Suzuki gave him the time to be “the” guy year over year and stability on a platform that wasn’t going to change. If he stayed at Honda he would have seen significant model change and have been second to Chase and then the Lawrences if Honda could even afford him after allocating most of the remaining their budget to Lawrences.

Kenny said he really like the 2017 Honda and his monster cup (2016) and first two rounds of SX in 2017 would show that. If not for that crash at A2 in 2017, I think Kenny would have a couple SX championships to his name rn.

Based on what his contract was worth, any signing bonus, any salary based pay outs, the time-line (how many years -total- the contract addressed and the value originally assigned)...and...let's not forget contracts often have clauses regarding early termination provisions... So, hell yes, I expect them to require him to buy his way out of it.

Honestly kawi probably should have hired Malcolm and AP. Nobody expects them to win, so the subpar team won’t hold them back in any massive way. And they are the people’s champs so the team image will improve and get a ton of good PR for a change.

All I know is I want to thank kawi for making 2 silly seasons in a row very exciting due to their team quality.
