I was too young at the time to have access to watch all the races back then but one of the most impressive things about Carmichael for me is that he waxed everyone for years and was easily the fastest guy. Stewart comes along and Carmichael just goes faster then he ever had to and beats Stewart straight up most...

And slice/dice followed by a lifelong drug subscription are the catch-all solutions for doctors. You are a doctor? What kind of insanity is it to be normalizing the removal of a key gland as a “simple fix” for hormonal issues, on a public motocross forum, when you acknowledge yourself you don’t know the diagnosis, and how ever-changing and different hormonal situations are? PSA kids. Health comes from nature and movement, not letters next to a name used to imply credibility and keep you from looking at the industry behind them.

I think your strapping them down too far creating excess pressure if your getting leaks. Have the straps closer to a 45 degree angle from the bike and you don't need much tension at all or like others suggested turn buckles on the foot pegs works well too.

Not sure of your point, I am a vet paying all the bills for myself and my kids to race? The ones always complaining are the heros that go full spastic for 2 laps then get tired so instead of toning it down a notch or working on fitness they get the races shortened.

Anywhere I race its always the vets complaining the races are too long when it has already been cut to 4 laps. I will do pro open and vet to get more track time but then I get harassed by officials about flag marshalling as I have two kids racing as well. I'm not sure what the answer is. Outrageous...
When there's not 21/39 guys around you revving the piss out of their bikes, a chopped out crooked rut in front of you and your adrenaline spiking off the charts what's the point? Work out a technique with a start map, do a couple of practice starts at the end of your ride day so it's familiar and call it...

This is a perfect explanation for Febvre as well. People point to him winning the title absolving Kawasaki of problems however every single second rider on the team has struggled and complained about the bike. Febvre is clearly good enough to ride around the issues others are having.

Couple of thoughts, Ferrandis getting bad starts on a factory Ducati against a bunch of privateers on 250fs is very on brand. Colt is one of the biggest headcases in the sport, he straight up beat Jet for a sx title but decides to constantly roll around outside the top 10 because he can't get out of his own way...

Glad it got sorted. The funny thing is if you ran full diamond grips with no ridges or full waffle grips you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Your years of riding have trained your hand to like the half waffle grip in a certain position to your fingers.

This has been bugging me so I went out and tested. I will admit I was wrong. I still don't understand why it bothered me so much when I went riding (first ride on this bike) but I made adjustments and thought it made it better so maybe it was just mind games at that point. I have also been on bikes forever and never had an issues so it’s just my ignorance to blame. Maybe it’s just the way this bike is made and I’m not a fan of it. Further riding will tell. Also sorry to the others...

Your hand position on the grip is the answer. If the centre line of your palm starts above the throttle start position, it will finish above the throttle stop position when rotated or vice versa so the position of your hand on the grip dictates the opening and closing position. Heard of re-gripping? If your coming up to a fast...

The position of your hand on the grip determines the start and stop of the throttle when riding hence the re-gripping technique. As said above if it's a lock on and you can turn the grip on the cam even better! Rotate the grip forward, rotate the throttle assembly back and test it for yourself!

The amount of rotation is the same regardless of the throttle assembly position. Try using a razor blade to cut the ribs off the first row of the grip so that your fingers are in a familiar position when the assembly is rolled back.

Nobody's "banning" anybody but I think your comment has merit insofar as broadcasters being relatable to their audience. It's just common sense. Imagine if Al Michaels or Joe Buck stepped in to announce F1 or the British Premier League. Don't get me wrong, a "peppering" of multinationalism is a good thing but I think an intelligent domestic/native voice that the vast majority of the SX audience can relate to is lacking anytime Leigh and RC are in the booth. (no disrespect to JT$ but he is only on air for a few brief moments which isn't enough to tip the...

I've recently bought a Husky 450 for my first European mx experience and I can't understand how a bigger deal isn't made about this. The brembo brakes are incredible compared to the Japanese bike!
