I had the exact reaction after I saw who the rider was who made the left turn. Never saw something like this happen in a pro start when 3-4 riders just go straight at the first turn. If I were Mitch, I'd want some answers on why #180 decided to turn left, away from the first turn.

Love him or hate him, his bike looks like it handles terrible. His 250 looked like it handled awesome. Watching him vs guys on other brands is pretty noticeable how bad his bike is fighting him, even the guys he’s in front of. Overriding the bike trying to keep up with Lawrence’s? Big Blue pig is back? Current YZ450 generation not as good as previous years? What are everyone’s thoughts

I’m genuinely beginning to think Star is purposefully sending one of their riders to weed the first corner and mess with Kitchen because this is beyond ridiculous at this point

Awesome photo! Very strange to see 4 Star riders turning right while one Star rider is going straight/left. I’m not accusing them of doing this on purpose but man this looks like Landen Gordon was setting his team up for a great start.

For the 2nd moto start today, most have seen Kitchen and a few other riders tangling up and blowing the first turn and headed towards that photographer. Well, that photographer was me haha. I've seen comments online asking if I was fine and to answer, yes, I got out of that situation somehow completely unharmed. I went right back to shooting pictures after that. could be an interesting wager. 50/50 for me if it includes involuntary reasons. i.e. i think its more likely he just breaks himself off in supercross. of course, its open for debate on how involuntary injury from riding over one's head is or isn't. this forum needs a !remindme bot. but i love kawi. i hope he races and i hope he beats prado a few times. chase too.

Kind of annoyed with Star. Seems like they have 20 riders on their 250’s. Nothing wrong with it but I tend to root against the giants. Id like to see Beta get a couple riders and make a little noise in the small bore class. The bikes seem to have the highest quality parts on them. Leaning that direction or Ducati on next single track bike.
