Great ride by Binder, and very cool to see KTM get a MotoGP win. It was incredible to watch how much better the KTM was in hard braking today, the overheads when Binder was catching Morbidelli especially showed the advantage.

Can we just let the "Dungey could have won in 2011" discussions end already? RV could have won by more, he was sick at the start of outdoors, Chad could have won if he didn't Chadapult.....James could have won if he raced outdoors

Good luck to Tickle. He looks lean and fit and ready to go in the press release pictures.

Masterpool got hurt, can't remember what his injury is exactly but I think it was a broken leg. His mechanic occasionally drops knowledge bombs here, maybe he can update?

It mostly started in 2014 when he was racing for TLD outdoors on a 450 and he overheated at Budds Creek and had some kidney issues. That was his last outdoor race. https://vault.racerxonline.com/rider/malcolm-stewart/races Honestly, as much as I like ... more »

I mean, that Honda literally put Lorenzo into retirement. Now he's sniffing around for a Ducati comeback if you believe everything you read/listen to. And Lorenzo is not exactly chopped liver when it comes to getting a MotoGP bike around the circuits. ... more »

Yes, I saw that quote and agree it is a bit sour grapes. Like any racing championship, you gotta be in it to win it. Honda has painted themselves into a bad spot with the bike right now, it is utterly amazing in Marc's hands but a total handful in anyone ... more »

The craziest part of Marc's crash is that had the front wheel not tagged him, he might have got away with not too much damage. That super slow-mo from above shows how hard the front wheel hit his upper arm.

Tomac could Tomac (ie. crash and return to 3rd) on a privateer bike too. The production rule really levels the field, apart from some shiny Ti and magnesium bits Tyler Bowers' KX450 is not so much different from Eli Tomac's. The beauty of motocross is ... more »

Hill was on the KTM-Redbull factory team in 2015, with Musquin in his final year of 250s. Then when the factory team was rolled into the TLD team, Hill's deal kind of was forced into that program for 2016. I remember he was not super happy about it, ... more »

There is a combo camera/tail light for cycling, the brand is Cycliq. I've never used it but know a couple of law enforcement cyclists who don't ride without it.

Added reply in a thread Star Yamaha or Geico Honda 450 Riders? 7/14/2020 8:17 AM

Well, and I'm very much stealing this point of view from Matthes, this is partly due to how the 250 class is presented. If SX is the money driver the sport, there really is no big difference for a sponsor to be involved with a 250 team or 450 team. On ... more »
