I thought peak RV in SX from 2011-2014 was pretty awesome at making efficient passes.

Added reply in a thread Mudder on Sunday? 6/5/2020 5:09 PM

Going to go out on a limb and say it won't be an epic mudder. Race time is 3 PM local and most point forecasts have the showers chances dropping in the afternoon on Sunday. But I was at Vegas in 2016 so I know how these things can change quickly.

He was in the airport at the start of the Zoom presser, said he was picking someone up, then looked to be in a car afterwards so he is likely still in Utah. This does not mean he is not going to take a dive to retain eligibility.

I remember being at A3 in 2014 watching the first timed Q and Zacho dumped it in a corner right in front of us. Tucked the front but it was a hard one. He stood up and had the classic clavicke fracture stance. Turned to my buddy and said "Osborne just ... more »

I don't get the hate. He's had a lot of interruption to his 450 career. Had to stay on the 250 for MXoN late into the season in 2018. Had a back injury before start of 2019 SX. Starts coming around, has horrible injury at Daytona with bad healing issues. ... more »

Added reply in a thread Fitness people – is altitude like heat? 6/5/2020 9:40 AM

For some guys yes. The thing with altitude is that no 2 riders will have the exact same adaptation to it over the same time period. At the cellular level some riders will just have faster changes in red cell counts, capillaries etc. Add in the intensity ... more »

As per Matthes/Weege/JT$ on the review pod, he is suffering from altitude sickness. He was vomiting last night. Bowers and Friese are also being affected badly as well.

This is true. I have friends who literally grew up on skis and rose up to the Canadian national team level as juniors but then stopped either due to injury or school. Those guys at age 50 are still incredible on skis even though they might get 5 days/yr ... more »

Yikes. Equipment failures on a SX track are horrendous.

We've seen that before. Tomac is not good at jumping them so once he commits to the blitz he generally stays on it. Still a good night for him after going into the first turn around 18th.

Yeah enough with that. And cutting to a story on Deano during qualifying. Fuck NBC you've got hours of dead time for this stuff.

I don't get where Ken went from crazy whoop speed to jumping them in 2 laps?? He and Tomac never resort to jumping. His arms must have pumped up, that's all I can think.

This track is a holeshot track. Get it, grease the rhythm and you're gone.

Track looks much better tonight. I think Ken will holeshot and lead wire to wire. Anderson looks great, put him on the box. We will see if Coop can hit those whoops 26-27 times at the same speed as the other guys. 94 3 21 1 4 is my top 5. 250 will be ... more »

Dungey still trains a lot. So does RC right now. I think there is more going on at team 25 than we know. Matthes has tried to get info but everyone is tight lipped. Normally at this point there would be some statement that he'll be ready for MX. We now ... more »
