@450exc... This '78 has been hiding in the corners since 1997. A lot of life's water has flowed under the bridge since then. I'm getting around to it now. It's still exciting to working on this old scoot. Biggest reality, this particular bike was way more roached out than I originally thought. But so far, nothing I can't fix one...
Same. Even the 81-83 arms bolt on, those are mono shocks though. I have plans to modify an 81 to be a twin shock setup if I ever get around to building my 80 250CR. It's only been 10+ years. lol

It should fit fine. Also, there are aftermarket aluminum brake stay rods out there.

I have 1978 CR250R. I need a swingarm. I can get a 1980 CR250R swingarm. I understand the 1980 is 1" longer and the longer wheelbase is desirable. Other than Brake stay arm, Brake actuator rod needing to accommodate the hub being an 1" further, does it bolt up to the frame and rear wheel? i.e. the spindle/axle spacing and...

I’ll push these out quicker in the coming weeks, but anyway… The ‘DataLab’ is especially interesting. Impressions A1 DataLab I'll add a shameless plug for the MXGP pod too, which was a lot of fun. Even got Adam's A1 takes!

Stock that someone modified to have a Schrader instead of the normal rubber bleeder that you need a needle for. I've modded these and used a Racetech or KYB 46mm valve piston and shim stack along with remote reservoir. You can use just about any modern 46/14mm seal head in them too.

A riding buddy just bought a used 1979 YZ 250. Good condition, He has not removed the shock yet but here’s a photo of the part we can see. Is this an aftermarket shock? Modified stock? I was under the impression that the stock shocks did not have a Schrader valve? Just curious. When time allows, we’ll get the shock...

In the world of AMA, if you touch the gate at your disadvantage you get docked a lap down. If you want to blatantly take out and maybe injured a rider, we drop 5 points out of your score.

I listened to the PulpMX podcast take on this whole DB/NBC deal. I think Matthes and JT did a really good job of condoning workplace impropriety. Evidently, Matthes and JT feel lying, demeaning, insulting, and sabotaging your fellow workers is "no big deal" in the workplace. That a person should be perfectly OK receiving that sort of treatment or dishing it out. I've run a business for 45 years, some of my employees and customers with me for that long, this is news to me. I've always felt coworkers need respect and honesty, who knew? I would imagine if they...

Bultaco Started a new thread Dear NBC/Peacock. re: Announcing button

I'd pay a bit extra for a "Mute Announcing" button on the SMX broadcasts. Let me hear the stadium and race sounds but turn off the talking heads. You already know how to broadcast races without the chatter. Refer to any of your European Nordic Skiing feeds/coverage.

Deegan is a needy attention getter. His main goal is to get people talking about him. As in 13 pages on this thread alone. The irony is he can ride a bumpty bump bike pretty good.
