I'd pay a bit extra for a "Mute Announcing" button on the SMX broadcasts.  Let me hear the stadium and race sounds but turn off the talking heads.

You already know how to broadcast races without the chatter.  Refer to any of your European Nordic Skiing feeds/coverage.

Because they can.....       They will get their pound of flesh one way or another.

This is why the days of VCRs were better in many ways.

Anyone remember the days of VCR+? In tv guide, every show or race would have a 5 digit code after it that you could input into your VCR+ machine and it would record the start and stop of it.

Truth be told, we never went the route of DVR.

If it was up to me, I'd dump the streaming garbage.      8 million movies/shows and the only thing I watch are old reruns.   The new shit sucks balls.

Now kindly step off my artificial turf.....😜

We will never get such a button, because they want to give "Monster Energy" a mention in almost every single sentence.

We get commercials because we pay for Peacock the streaming service. We used to pay for NBC Gold Pass.  I wish we had the option for commercial free again.

I’ve bought tons of DVDs of my favorite shows for $1-2 at thrift stores the last few years since I don’t watch anything new. One day I’ll have everything I need with a total investment of like $40 and I’ll cut those streaming services right off. Too damn many of them.

I’d take the hot mic/camera back during commercials honestly. It was awesome hearing Mcadoo tell the officials at Atlanta he was fine and going to race on it during commercials after he just pounded himself into the over under.

That's a good idea on DVDs.   The amount of lost time wasted going thru the streaming content and finding nothing to watch is horrendous.

I have honestly found better things to watch on the FREE streaming channels....only problem with them is the stinking commercials.

You can always upgrade to premium which i did because FUCK commercials on a paid service.... plus you can't rewind or pause the live feed......If I had  ANY other way to watch this I would tell peacock to Fuck off. I hate being nickel and dimed.....Charge me whatever you need to and stick the commercials on a paid service straight up your chute.

Its like Peacock doesn't like us and takes advantage of moto enthusiasts because we have no other option. Hopefully in time another production team will step in and peacock can die and disappear....

Last time I went to a Supercross, I even thought this about the announcers.  You can't hear what they are saying, it is just noise.  I would rather hear the bikes.

Are you saying with Premium you don’t get commercials? My Premium account must be broken, because I get commercials. 🤷‍♀️

Edit; did you mean Premium plus has no commercials? I just found out there is a Premium Plus package for $6 more a month.

i was just listening to a sports car channel complaining about the fact NBC is dumbing down the IMSA coverage to appeal to crossover nascar fans (not saying theyre dumb). he makes the point that you sorta have to be a nerd to watch sports car endurance racing to begin with, something NBC just doesn't understand. it's a bummer they gotta go after the casual fan all the time rather than serving the base.

yes just keep upgrading until the problems fixed i guess....thats what i did....what a crappy service....no way to really contact them quickly....premium eliminates the commercials on replay..but no rewinding during live.....they really don't want their customers to have a good experience i guess.   I cuss them alot.

There is no peacock payment tier that takes away commercials live. There was, they advertised it and we signed up and now we have commercials.

Remember the wide camera view of the stadiums? That was during commercials
