If Russia weren’t in POSSESSION of parts of Ukraine, then yes, I could see why Zelenskyy doesn’t want to “give anything up”. But that’s just not the case. If the fighting stops now you would say Ukraine has lost. So if they’ve lost and are losing, then it seems a fair assumption that they stand to lose in the outcome of negotiations.
