I don't know how Americans, especially those who voted for him will see this, but from the outside looking in, the USA cannot be trusted as an ally anymore. Its a sad thing, because the aggressors of the world are going to see what's happening and realize that they can get away with anything as long as they're nice to Trump about it. Dark day.

Poland, South Korea and Japan will be seriously considering joining the nuclear club.

and this episode will guarantee that Ukraine will be the last country ever to give them up,

Ummm. At that time, the Biden/Harris administration was fully supporting Ukraine. Did you expect Z to campaign against them, and instead campaign for Trump? Use your brains people.

I did use my brain to realize a sitting President of another Country should not be on the campaign trail for the US President.

Giving public speeches praising the current administration (at that time) is one thing and a common courtesy. But attending a rally? A bit too far.

Can you name any other sitting President of another Country who went to a campaign rally on behalf of any POTUS?

So here’s a question. What did Zelenskyy actually say that was A. False or B. Disrespectful?

Before the meeting, Trump tried to get him to sign a deal that gave the US mineral rights but gave Ukraine no security guarantees. Vance went at him as soon as he started talking about Putin already breaking multiple ceasefires. He never insulted Trump or JD.

You say Putin want to get USSR back. Can you please educate me what republics (countries) he got so far and witch ones in danger been taken over by Putin. As far as my knowledge goes :Zelenski was install ( not elected) to provoke war with Russia for money laundering purpose By globalists. Very simple: no NATO in Ukraine = no war. And please don't tell me POS who stoll millions and owns 13 houses in different countries ( bought house in Israel for his parents for 9 mmillion dollars) have his best interest in Ukranian piople . Just my HOP

Not that it will change your mind, but he never bought house in Israel. He was a wealthy man before he became president with apartments in Italy and Black Sea area. He owns a lot of entertainment companies. He was elected with 75% support.

What Putin want`s is Russian empire back. Head of russian church publically called him czar.

What he wants is Russian empire borders. That`s to Karpatian mountains to prevent from attacks or as a natural defense line. That means Ukraine, Moldova. Poland as a buffer zone. Control of the Baltic sea is a must, that mean he has to take Latvia Lithuania and Estonia.

Oh, and war started in 2014. Zelensky was elected in 2019.

See the problem is, you judged me right away. You know nothing about me or where i came frome.I simply made a post with my knowlege and an open mind trying to understend your side. You are correct the war started in2014,but it s escalated to today level of conflict in December of 2022 after hard push of Ukraine becoming a NATO member . AS far as i can see there is no Danger to Moldova,Poland,Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia to get invaded by Russia.AS for Russia empire borders;i see nothing wrong with having strong country and a borders . As a USA citizent i want my Country and my fellow country man be stongest and the best !!! By prolongine war in Ukraine we all loose!!!

These are leaders   And they are rolling in their graves. I wanted to believe President Trump had a plan, but today proved it’s just a grift. Disappointment doesn’t begin to describe how I feel.

We can believe he is doing other things well, and call him out for being wrong here.  Or are we just so partisan we have to blindly follow everything he says or does.

Ha Lincoln he was a Indian baby & woman killer . Regan is a union buster to destroy the middle class.  We Never had much for a president.  Anyone can be look at Biden & Obama easily the worst.  The country is buried because of it.  Maybe George Washington he believed in only 1 party to run the country.  And he was smart enough to make peace with & to convince the Indians to help defeat the British to declare our independence.

Zelenskyy’s demands reveal his delusion and incompetence - he has no solution. We should NOT commit hundreds of billions to solving a problem without a clear achievable solution. We don’t truly understand the conflict because of Russian auto-haters (aka the liberal media)

I think that Vance  had had enough. Through prior talks and what he had seen, he sensed Zelensky to be a weasel and dealt with him as such.

Its not taking Putins side, its the realisation that Trump has been left with an utter fucking mess.

It's so funny the geniuses complaining about what Zelensky was wearing. How closed minded are you? Not every culture wears suits.  If the Indian president is wearing his traditional attire at the White House, instead of a suit, is he disrespectful?  The wardrobe we wear in the US is not the required defacto way of  dressing for everyone.

Yeah, I’ll admit, I’m a cynical, pessimistic old cuss. But human nature is very difficult to nail down because humans are capable of both great good and tremendous evil. The real problem if we are only as good as our weakest link is we’ve got way too many weak links.

The difference between man and monkey isn’t a light switch, it’s a dimmer, and it’s turned way the fuck down.

How did Hitchens put it?

We share 98% of the same DNA with apes, and it shows.

Vance is an errand boy. He's totally out of his depth, he's just not smart enough to realize it yet.

It's hard to believe that two weeks ago he stood up on the same Munich stage where Putin showed his hand at the 2007 Security Conference and unironically spewed that pathetic Steven Miller-penned tirade. What a dope.

I think this is where Trump is failing. In the US he has about 49.7% on his side. But on the world stage, he has nothing close to that. In Europe and many other countries, he's losing support big time. He's seen as a bully and frankly, a bit off. In Russia he's probably gaining a big following, which is crazy.

How is this good for the country?

So now it appears that three times this month, including today, and twice in Europe, he was on the verge of signing agreements with the United states.

And as we saw today, he acted up, and passed on the opportunity.

If you've watched the entire 40min today, things went to shit quickly when he made his punk ass comment about, "you will feel it in the future".

A veiled threat, and that's exactly how president Trump took it, and responded to it accordingly.

Then began his run of smart ass bullshit, talking over president Trump.

Once again, on the verge of signing a deal.

Disrespectful little shit.

Your interpretations are always out there. This was an episode right out of The Apprentice. I'm surprised they didn't have them sitting at a big table with JD and Rubio on each side of Trump. Trump knows MAGA loves the show.

For a group that claims to see the “bigger picture” there’s a lot of failure to see the bigger picture going on.

If you want to know why a Ukrainian victory in this war is so important for the world? Ask yourself why Poland is arming itself to the teeth and offering Ukraine its full support. If you can’t figure it out from there, I can’t help you.

That’s the thing with history, it tends to repeat itself.

Human nature I don’t believe to be so difficult to pin down. When you remove mechanisms of our current system like profit and private property (not personal property), you then remove the incentive for doing harm against man and nature. When we take back our responsibility and our self reliance we also remove the ability to profit from doing harm.

It’s a nice thought but I don’t think I see much evidence supporting it. I do hope you’re right though. My view is much more gloomy.

Not sure how that fact has been overlooked.  Any Alpha Male ( let alone the leader and most powerful man in the free world-) would have taken that comment as an invitation to “throw down “ especially on that huge public stage . After accepting billions of dollars of aid via cash, weapons and manpower, you do NOT attempt to piss down the grantors throat .  Sorry ,this one is 100% on Zelensky

Vance has virtually no experience that would make anyone in that room respect him. Just like Hegseth, Bongino, etc.  It's complete amateur hour in the white house. Expect a lot of turnover, like in the last admin.

The worst part about all this is that we spent 2 decades dicking around in shithole Muslim countries and now when our European allies that actually share America's values need help we are going to turn our backs on them.

I haven't heard that, perhaps you can provide a link to the fact Poland is arming to defend itself from an attack from Russia.

From what i have heard, Poland has a strong immigration policy and they are aware that their neighbors do not and that chaos has ensued in those countries. They probably feel a threat from the policies of these countries rather then Russia.

I very much doubt that.

The problem with the first Trump administration was that he surrounded himself with folks who had experience, people who could not think outside the swamp.

This time around he has had time to learn from past mistakes and is now surrounding himself with smart people who are outside the narrative.

Why are you uncomfortable with change?

Comrade Trump clown show continues. Why can't he direct even the slightest bit of what he showed today, toward Putin? Putin is creaming his pants over that display today. What do you think NK, China, Iran et al are thinking of all this? Making Dictators Great Again.

For years we've watch Zelensky help himself to the US taxpayer money and he's not used to being told "NO".  The party is over. Let him go figure out how to get out of the mess he's in.

I hadn't heard that either. What I remember was Poland was arming the Ukraine and then stopped.  But in all reality throughout the last 500 years Russian has always been on the mind of Poland. Russia invaded them many times.

The only thing I could find was this article.  https://www.defensenews.com/global/europe/2025/02/25/poland-slovakia-te…

Hi Sandberm,

Poland have been preparing for quite a while. Polish President Andrzej Duda has said that Putin's strategy is identical to what the world saw from Hitler.in the run up to WWII.
