I think that Vance had had enough. Through prior talks and what he had seen, he sensed Zelensky to be a weasel and dealt with him as such.

From what i have heard, Poland has a strong immigration policy and they are aware that their neighbors do not and that chaos has ensued in those countries. They probably feel a threat from the policies of these countries rather then Russia.

I hadn't heard that either. What I remember was Poland was arming the Ukraine and then stopped. But in all reality throughout the last 500 years Russian has always been on the mind of Poland. Russia invaded them many times.
