I've been able to use a VPN and watch it from Australia before. Last year I just waited a couple hours and downloaded the torrent or watched on daily motion. I would pay for it if it were available but if I have to jump through hoops I'll download it for free

Watching the whole sx series with NordVPN, so far no problems?

But that you actually need someone with an US bank account to purchase a peacock subscription for you is retarded. They don't seem to care at all about International viewers.

If we use a VPN to watch live streams pretending to be in whatever country needed, then we're criminals. But its OK to use a VPN and to pay and watch?! Why can't the AMA Pro Nationals do like the AMA Flat Track racers? They have a free live stream on their website for everyone outside the USA, who can't purchase Peacock.

Also maybe this is the time to think about streaming on Youtube or Twitch? Use the crowd outside the USA as guinea pigs. Could you create a bigger fan base when people can watch for free...

My friend pays for this every year and gave me his access....i'm pleasantly surprised at what you get for your money. It has literally everything broadcast of major note. I will admit to not being up to speed on the business practices used to stream all this to the customer base but i'm not complaining, i get it for free :D haha

It might be more complicated than it seems, but surely it's still profitable to make the races available worldwide.

We have a bunch of fans pirating the races when we'd happily pay and support the sport.

This is exactly it. As much as it sucks to pay a high fee for the International SX feed, I do so every year since it's been offered. I will happily do the same for US Nationals, if there is a legitimate way to access it.

One other thing to add, that I do not fully understand. Why do series like SX, MotoGP, MXGP, and Pro Motocross work so hard to keep their events off of YouTube after the event is over?? To me, it seems like the maximum value for any potential paying subscriber to your service is the LIVE event. After that, the value is diminishing every day at a high rate. I'll never understand why these races are not uploaded to YouTube by the promoter say 48-72 hours after the event. The real success is getting more people to be watching live right? Well, get them seeing a full race that just happened, and get them interested.

Surely this has to do with TV rights. Can anyone with a foot in this industry explain to me why old events are viewed as so valuable?
