I remember how fast he was. But. His biggest weakness, was not being able to come through the pack. If he started up front, he could run with the best of em, but if he got a mid pack start, he was usually mid pack finish, he couldn't really move up. He is now going up against 450s on a start, so less likely to move through the pack than Deegan, assuming he is physically good to go.

I'd love to see Jcoop go, but you kind of have to send Deegan. If you keep personal opinions out, an dlook objectively, he is the best 250 rider, hands down. And if he can perform, he's the best bet.

Herlings have plated a collarbone, two weeks later he was winning mxgp race going 2-1 in Indonesia. So it's fully possible. Guess it depends a bit on the break but it's more mental if break is ok. I raced after 6 weeks and was scared shit until I hit the ground lightly and it all went good. After that fear was gone. Normally 10 weeks for bones to heal fully.
