Saw this earlier in the day and came here and surprised no one is talking about it. Weird deal. But star does have 38 riders on the team.
Star can’t keep anyone healthy besides Deegs so don’t see how it hurts, definitely upside for their team for outdoors
"We can work with speed"
Try out maybe? He’s still wearing his PC fox gear and bell helmet.

Outdoors only on a bonus heavy contract and move to the farm is the only way this has a chance of working, otherwise the best predictor of the future is the past. This will also work for the team, there will be a couple in sick bay by the end of indoors who can’t answer the bell for motocross
Love the guy, but it’s either do something like this or go all in on a title in Canada. The meat grinder of SX doesn’t work for Ty
It's being discussed in the silly season thread.
He didn’t give those back yet 😂
Now he can waste Bobby's money again?
Some are harsh on Ty here but I think this opinion is right on. I still see upside in him so hopefully he gets an opportunity to reach his potential.
Was a Pro Circuit Kawasaki ride not an opportunity?
He seems unserious.
Funny that the keyboard warriors who do not run a team give their opinion of why this won't work out, yet the people actually paying the bill are considering hiring him....maybe just maybe what we hear on the internet regarding burning bridges, hard to work with, not giving bikes back, no indoor skill etc isn't as true as perceived and is just internet gossip. Hope it works out for him. He has insane speed.
Christian craig and ty masterpool. Say anything positive about them and you're gonna get it...
It's pretty sad we live in a thumbs down world inside VitalMX....
Bobby is going to revoke the Deegan's from posting any media content during contract times in the future...
That won't happen. I remember seeing Webb in one of their videos before he was on the team, they took it down and re uploaded it.
Has there been that much negative about Ty? He’s done well at PC, especially if you compare him to someone like Macadoo (not sure if he’s ever completed a full season). He’d be a good pick for any team. And he’s only 23.
I like the kid, but he seems like Justin Hill back in the day. Just doesn't want to put in the work, and from what some people have said, his dad can be difficult.
Pit Row
If he gets a shot with Star he better take it as his last opportunity like I thought he would do with PC and just do whatever the hell the team wants him to do for a year.
In my opinion Ty should have gotten a shot at the vacant 450 spot at Kawasaki .
this is his last shot, imo he has to stay at the GOAT farm and live that life, only way he'll get good enough to do well in SX and be a contender for wins again in MX. This last season outdoors was incredibly mediocre. Seemed like he got tired after 5 laps.
He could/should send dad back home and give one year full push to his career on Star.
He was fighting an illness towards the beginning of outdoors and not on the bike as much. Got healthy and rode really strong towards the end of the series. Starts were not as consistent though. At Southwick he started outside the top 20 both motos and finished inside the top 10. At the final at Budds Creek, again starts were not there, but finished 6th overall. Then 5th overall is SMX was very solid.
Until this kid pulled a holeshot pointed at the sky. He was not really talked about much. The expectations of him being a podium sx guy seems about far fetched. Being a 5-10 guys outdoors seems about where he should be. Riding with the team might get him to another level. But honestly don't see him as a championship contender.
Neither is anyone else not #18,
He posted an Instagram today riding his Kawi 250 doing wheelies down the road. He’s trolling hard.
you mean on a 110...
For curiosities sake I’m trying to figure out is he really a problem, doesn’t like to put the work in or hard to deal with. Maybe both. I’ve heard his parents have an influence on training or want too, along with how things go etc. I’m sure his parents, based in their backgrounds have knowledge on training. But would seen a factory team wouldn’t need any outside help.
Not sure how many chances Ty has been given……..but none seem to last all that long. He kinda had a little bit of a following for a while, but not sure that lasted all that long.
This isn’t coming from what we hear on the internet. This came from former team managers and conversations that team personnel have had with moto media. Ty and his father are difficult to work with and it’s unfortunately hurt his reputation.
Can’t deny the guys talent
