I was talking to Big James and Malcolm a couple weeks ago at Budds and mentioned that once you survive two 40 minute motos in Georgia heat with Jeannie Carmichael, everything else is a piece of cake

Glad we got to see him come out of his shell a little bit more in the latter years, really get to know him bettter and then watch him absolutely hammer that Yamaha to a couple more titles. That bike seemed like an extension of him, like they were connected. Going to miss the head tilt and watching him work. Great career and alot of legendary moments.

I actually feel relieved for him. Dude had brain surgery and lost a spleen. He was never accused of lacking effort, and he came back from major injuries as good as anyone has ever done it. He would win right away.

Ngl, when he comes back, on whatever bike it may be. It will be his last chance to comeback and be great. If not, the I fear it’s over for him and his career. Either way, I know he’s against the odds but he can pull it off. Hoping to see him soon 💪
