How does a guy that spends two years in and out of the hospital and surgery room at no real fault of his own burn any bridges? You are acting like Deano spent two years with KTM smoking weed and fcking off. Like someone else mentioned, not only did he not burn a bridge, they liked Dean enough to support putting him on the white KTM for two more years.
Well said, Dan. A lot of people assume that if you get dropped by a manufacture, you're blacklisted from ever riding for that brand again. I'm...

Not even close to true....

I am not sure that Roger is short sighted enough to drop Dean, just because it is Dean. I am sure Dean's injury record has to work against him when teams are looking at their rider line up, especially when the rider is on the sidelines at the time with another injury.

Its odd though that the Husky team couldn't make room for him, especially as it seems Rockstar stuck behind him. A three rider 450 team would probably have raised the costs a lot more than Husky was prepared to put in, I dunno.

Uh, no,
The Vital braintrust thinks nothing of burning bridges, they just give anyone that brings it up a seventh grade thumbs down. Laughing

He burned that bridge big time. Google his results with KTM while he was on the payroll.

Wilson is still riding a ktm regularly and even got support from them with a bike... what bridge did he burn exactly?
Yeah...it's a white KTM with Husqvarna logos on it. I believe RockStar is providing it.

I would love to see Dungey back in the #5 saddle, but I doubt he'd do it just until Marvin healed. Heck, Deano can beat Cooper...so he's the obvious choice for a temporary point man.

So what does Webb do if Dean to KTM as a fill in and them beats him every weekend? Just as Barcia did when he was at Yamaha?

So I like Dean, but why would KTM want him as a fill in? He is hurt more than healthy, he is not a consistent front runner and they have shown they don't need two riders out there at all times. And Husky wouldn't field another bike for him, so that show's you a little about what his value may be to them at this time. We also don't know the extent of Marv's injury so they may not need a fill in rider at all.

I am pretty sure KTM has a contingency plan in place if Marv or Cooper goes down, pretty certain that they won't be consulting the brain trust that is Vital anytime soon. There are more riders than rides at the moment so KTM kind of has a pick of the litter right now, and who wouldn't jump at the chance to ride that bike?

Which available riders are faster than Wilson? Remember, last year he finished 7th in points. He had 11 top-10 finishes and one podium.

Regarding Deano, I have always thought the main reason he did not get another shot with Husky was because Roger took over as the racing director for both KTM and Husky and he nixed the plan.

KTM #2/#3 spot has not gone well the past few seasons, Deano x2, Canard, Tiickle....

Hope Marvin is OK for A1.

No surprise, he doesn't plan on lending his bike to anyone.

Musquin crashed on purpose to create a ride for Chad Read.

Stamp it.
