In SX we were using the Dubach slip on and let me tell you, the way Doug and Jehan developed that unit was unbelievable for low end. The inside of the can had some really high tech staged cones that got larger and smaller to produce low end. It worked. Also when I say low end I mean usable torque, not a specific rpm range. Thats why I never made it to the next level, I wasnt comfortable riding at the McGrath era pace. The closer I got it got more dicey and I was still a long way off. 😎🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't believe Roger was ever prejudiced against a rider or team. If they were the best choice they got asked. Did he he make it easy to pick a rider from his team if the top choice had difficulty answering the call...no fucking doubt. And guess what...even with the bullshit he had to put up with...we ALWAYS sent the best team that could and would. Roger made sure of that. You rock on with yer bad self Roger...you da MAN.

I think most of us figured this would be his last. So stepping down just a couple months before is quote a surprise. Now, for this year I suspect Pelletier will handle it and they will hire a new team manager for next year. Like many others, I think Mitch would be good, but my first choice would be Broc Glover. Give an honorable mention to Johnny O'Mara and Mark Barnett. But I also think it might be good to go a bit younger with someone like Zach Osborne or Ryan Dungey. Been a lot of whining about Roger... That's...

Jeremy Albrecht is the best person for the job...

There is no such thing as a replacement for Roger. There is just someone to fill his shoes.

It's been a hell of a ride. Yes, there have been some dry spells, but the dude put us on the map 45 years ago and won this race more than anyone in history. That's some Knute Rockne shit right there.
